With a cry of frustration I threw a book through the room. How was I going to get to the Demonworld without knowing the spell or how to channel the magic to begin with? I had called for Ezequiel many times but he either did not hear me or shut me out. In any case he could not come to me. He seemed unconscious when I entered the house with Mika and for a moment I feared Cassindra might have ended him. ''Goddamnit!'' I cursed and sighed. ''Keep yourself together [___]'' I told myself. Still. Was there not anyone? Diana perhaps. No. If she ever had told me her true name I did not remember it. Calling Damien did not do anything either. Angel enthrallment indeed must be really strong. Was there nobody? Wait of course there was! Mika told his name. I took a deep breath to focus. ''Samael...'' If anyone could help it would be him. Hopefully. He was Ezequiel's father. ''Samael please...''

''My my. It has been a while, [_2_].'' The voice that sounded behind me started me and made me jump up '' Quite the mess you are in, literally.'' he said as he eyed the books. His eyes held the same melancholy as Waltz'. ''What is it you are summoning me for.'' As I looked at him, a part of me feared him. The another admired him. ''A fallen Angel took my friends and killed a human. I have the power to go to the Demon world to get my friends back but I do not know how. My memories are all over the place. What I have left of those anyway.'' I said and gulped. ''Oh? So you want me to take you to the Demon World.'' Samael said and I nodded. ''Even if I would help you. Once you get there then what. You do not even remember how to get there so how are you planning to defend yourself against a Fallen Angel.'' he said and I looked away. He was right. I picked up a hand full of spells when looking for how to get myself to the Demon world but that was not going to be enough. ''So now what.'' I asked. ''Well for starters you not wasting my time.'' Samael said. His words however struck a wrong nerve. ''Wasting your time? That Fallen Angel has your son. Killed at the least one human and knows what else. And you are telling me that I am the one wasting your time? If the Angels of Heaven did their job none of this would have happened!'' I called out. My words seemed to only amuse the Angel before me though. ''My son will be fine would he choose for himself. The human who is now upstairs, is a warlock. In Heaven they are only interested in pure humans. Those who know nothing about magic or the existence of other worlds. Even those who do not believe in Heaven at all. And perhaps yes. Angels should have went after the Fallen Angel but in overall keeping the Abyssal Plains safe, was your job.'' he said to me calmly. ''But, you do not remember that either do you. You haven't for a long time. Your years of solitude made you a wanderer and forget your purpose. If anything, you could have prevented all of this.'' His tone alone made me feel guilty. If I was supposed to protect the Abyssal plains, all those deaths done by the Demon lord... were they on me as well? ''So you left the fate of the Abyssal Plains in just my hands. Is that not a bit much?'' I asked. ''You handled it just fine for a few thousand years. But the way you are now you are as good as an apprentice warlock with a lot of energy in you.'' Samael replied. I was not sure if he was now insulting me or not but he was right. ''We are wasting time. Are you going to help me or not.'' I said eventually. ''I could, but not for free. An Angel's assistance is never just given. Regardless to whom it is given to.'' his eyes looked into mine and it was as if they pierced through my very soul. He seemed to be looking for something and a hint of sadness grew over him when he realised whatever he was looking for was not there. ''I do not care what I have to pay with as long as it is not a life. Cassindra caused enough suffering.'' I said and he nodded. ''Noted. With that out of the way let's continue. Knowing my son, he has your memories and has done his best to get them back to you. Cassindra's specialty before she became a Fallen Angel was tearing Souls apart and lifting Demon magic from people. She however looked down on others so she was sent off to the Demon world where she hopefully would learn the value of a person's life. Instead she became a killer with a sense of vengeance. She hates Angels and from what I have picked up was that she wanted to find a way to bring Heaven down. She knows, what you are and you probably do not so I will just say it. You have a Demon parent, and an Angel parent. You can use magic of both but always prefered Demon magic. In your memories is everything and more to take Cassindra down so the first person you need to find and help in the Abyssal Plains, is Ezequiel.'' he started. ''Wait. I have what? A Demon parent and an Angel parent? You can not be serious. There is no way Angels would just allow that to happen, if one knew they'd kill... me on... the spot...'' my gaze went to Samael and spoken words said by Mika started to make more sense. She spoke of a brother after all. Samael was Ezequiel's father. Was he possibly mine too? I had to ask. ''You... you are my father?'' I asked. ''You always did have a nice mind to figure these kind of things out. A shame you used reason rather than memory but our relationship is not relevant. It is true that the moment Heaven knows about you, you will be killed.'' Samael said. ''Ezquiel. Is he like me too?'' I asked and Samael nodded. ''Same mother and father.'' he answered bluntly. ''Cassindra does not seem to know about who he is yet, he was careful and used glamour spells to hide his energy and presence. She could not perceive him. She does know you have a brother, just not that it is him. He only revealed his Angel side to her.'' Samael said. ''I will need to go as soon as I can then. My friends... they know about what he is. If she is going to ask the right questions it is just a matter of time before Cassindra knows this too. Now everyone is bait and she is waiting for me. If she realises Ezequiel is just like me she will no longer need the others.'' I said and gulped. ''Then it is best to hurry.'' Samael said and I nodded. ''Teach me what you can old man. We should start off with a healing spell of sorts. Ezequiel did not look so good.'' Samael snorted at the words 'old man'. ''You have no time to practise things thoroughly. Some spells will come naturally and I will stick to spells that you managed to master quickly before. We will only have a couple of hours, the time in the Demon world after all goes faster. I can not train you there, Cassindra will notice and I am not the one who should be taking her down.'' he said and I nodded. ''Bring it.''
