''...And remember, call me if anything bad happens. I will pick you up right away alright?'' Sam said while I straightened my tie. We had just arrived at the parking lot of the school. One that despite the student age worked with school uniforms. I did not like the feeling of the tie however but it were the rules.

''Sam I am sure everything will be fine.'' I assured him. I was nervous but beaming with joy at the same time. Before Sam and I left this morning James reminded me that this school was exclusive and only accepted those with good grades or passing their entrance exam. The students were known to be calm and kind although with every school there would be students who would be less kind and perhaps even try to get under my skin. As for how I got in this place? Well. I seemed to somehow be able to absorb knowledge from books like a dry sponge in water. In truth this frustrated me. Being able to learn so quickly while now, approximately 3 and a half months after waking up in the bed I still did not know who or what I was.

''Still. I am just a bit worried about you.'' Sam admitted. I placed my hand on his and looked in his eyes.

''Sam, not to worry. I have you on speed dial.'' I took my phone from the schoolbag. Honestly I did not use it at all but at the least knew how to phone the boys in case I had to.

''And the teachers know how to reach you, James and Erik if needed. For now though, good luck with work.'' I gave his hand a gentle squeeze. ''Yea I will. Have a good day at school.'' He grinned and I grinned back before getting out of the car with a school bag and sports bag. Noticing only now that a few students had stopped to look. The boys at Sam's car and me, and most of the girls at Sam. 'Must be that incubi aura' I thought to myself and greeted everyone there with a smile.

I went to the entrance of the school though, knowing that I had to report myself first at the Dean's office.

Having been there before with James made it easy to find the way but now I had the time and opportunity to see how big it actually was. But, here I was and I was going to make the best of it. I knocked on door of the Dean's office and heard a voice tell me to come in which I did. I closed the door behind me after entering and gave the man a polite bow.

''Good morning Miss Anderson. You are well on time.'' he said from behind his mahogany desk. ''Good morning Sir Parker.'' I reply to him, glad I remembered his name. The man was in his mid thirties and clothes which were a neat blouse with a blazer and tie and thus far had been nothing but kind and understanding. ''No reason to be so uptight Miss Anderson.'' he assured me which resulted in my posture relaxing somewhat. He got from his seat and walked to a cabinet where he retrieved a few keys, along with an envelope. ''I asked you here because like every student you have the right for a locker in which you can put your things you do not need right away like your sport clothes and the books for the afternoon lessons. You have about thirty minutes until your first lessons start. Your mentor should be here in a few minutes, he will bring you to your lockers and your classroom. I assume you have read all the papers that arrived in the mail?'' he asked to which I nodded. ''Yes Sir.'' I did not elaborate, my confirmation was good enough for him it seemed. ''Any questions can be asked to the class elder or vice class elder. Both they and the class nurse assistant are aware of your history and will keep an extra eye on you to see if you settle in properly and are not experiencing any difficulties.'' he offered me the keys and enveloppe which I accepted. ''The latter contains the updated timetable for your classes. The school is divided in six areas, which are A till F. The numbers zero till five in front of the dot are the floors, the numbers after the dot indicate which classroom number. With these codes you should be able to find where to go. So, if I tell you to go to area C3.025 where will you go?'' he asked. ''Area C, third floor. Class number 25'' I reply to him. Sir parker nodded with a smile. ''Good. You will receive a new timetable every month. Would a class drop out a substitute teacher shall come to the appointed classroom. Would that not be possible self study is advised.''

I nodded in understanding and before I was able to ask there was a knock on the door. ''You may enter.'' Sir Parker said and the door opened. A man entered who was in his early twenties. He was almost as tall as James, with his shoulder long black hair which was not necessarily messy but not combed neatly either. His clothes were black trousers, white blouse with a sleeveless blazer and a tie that was slightly loose ''Good morning Edward Parker. I take it this young lady here is [___] Anderson?'' he asked.

Sir Parker nodded. ''She has yet to be shown the locker area and to her first class. I leave that in your capable hands Sir Gareth.''

Sir Gareth nodded and looked at me. ''Well then. Let's take our leave and let this old man return to his work.'' he said to me and he winked. There was a slight change in Sir Parker's expression but he wished me a good day before sitting back down on his chair. I was not sure whether to chuckle or not but I kept my composure. I offered Sir Parker a polite bow and wished him a good day as well before leaving with Sir Gareth.

''So Miss Anderson. Or do you prefer me to call you [___].'' Sir Gareth asked after closing the door. ''Calling me by my first name is fine Sir Gareth.'' I reply to him. He seemed like a nice man. ''Perfect. You may call me Waltz. It is a pleasure meeting you. It is not often we get transfers in this time of the year but I heard you passed the entrance test with flying colors. I am proud to have a student like you under my wing.''

I was not sure what to say exactly. ''I am glad I got accepted and am looking forward to study.''

''Just study?'' Waltz asked. ''Being your mentor I know your history but I sincerely hope you will make some friends and good memories as well.''

''How many people here know my history exactly?'' I asked Waltz. ''Well, the dean, school director, head nurse, the two class representatives and class nurse assistant. And last but not least me of course. Not to worry unless you desire it nobody else will know. We kept the amount of people who know about your history to a minimum but if we wish to guide you properly it is a necessity that some know. Do realise one thing, that the changing room for physical education is for all the girls. So they will see any visible markings you have''

''I understand that and that is fine.'' I replied to him. I was not ashamed of my scars and even if I would try to hide them and be secretive about it chances were I would only get an unpleasant result. As we walked, a group five girls came to us as well, wishing Waltz a good morning. Despite they wore their uniform though most had added their own touches such as decorative chains or patches. Waltz greeted them in return before he excused himself with the words he had to show me around a bit.

''Is that permitted? Their additional touches to their school clothes.'' I asked Waltz who nodded. ''Yes. Some students wished to express themselves a bit more and it is permitted as long as it is still recognisable as clothes from this school. Why had any plans?'' he asked with a smile. I shook my head smiling myself. ''No I will pass I think.'' I replied calmly. ''A shame. I was wondering with what kind of creations you'd come up with.'' from the tone of his voice I could not say whether he was serious or not but I dropped the issue for now.

We reached the lockers and I was glad to be able to put the sports bag in there. I would not need it until later today. From the timetable in the envelope I could read that the first classes I'd have today were English, Math, history and microbiology practical class so took the rest of the books I would not need, placing them in the locker making my bag so much more lighter.

''To which classroom do you need to go?'' Waltz asked. ''Ehm. D1.009.'' I reply. I had noticed that there were signs with directions as well. Right now we were in A0.002 judging by the map I had gotten along with the timetable. ''I can only walk with you once, the other times you either need to walk along with your classmates or find it on your own. So judging by the map, what is the shortest way to reach D1.009.'' Waltz asked. I looked at the map. ''Depending on where I am in the building, the stairs that are best to use are in areas A, C or E. Right now I am still in area A although to prevent being blocked in the hallways by students who are attending their classes I will meet the least resistance if I would walk to the C area of this floor, head up the stairs and go left.'' I gave a cocky grin to Waltz who blinked a few times perplexed. ''Well done. Since you are so good at summarizing I bet you can also lead me there?''

''What. Think I am just words? I will show you.'' I replied still with a cocky expression and put the bag on my back before walking with Waltz beside me.
