It was Friday, January the 4th. Next week I would have my internship at Anderson Toys, to learn about company life. I was just putting my bags in the locker before I headed to Waltz. ''It is nice you managed to arrange your internship. Do not let them work you to the bone alright?'' Leylia asked and I shook my head. ''I'll be fine. What about you though?'' I asked and Leylia ruffled a bit in her bag. ''I got the marks about five minutes ago...'' she said her voice slightly down as she took a sealed envelope from her bag. ''You did not open them yet?'' I asked and she shook her head. ''[___]... I am nervous. What if I did not make it...'' she said and I gave her a confident smile. ''Let's open it together then ok? I am sure you did fine.'' I said as I closed my locker. Leylia nodded and opened the envelope taking out the sheet of paper. I could tell she was nervous to say the least since her hands were shaking. ''[___]... I.... I made it! I MADE IT!'' with a relieved laugh she embraced me thanking me over and over. ''If it had not been for you explaining it to me I would not have made it at all. Look! I got A's! You're awesome!'' Leylia let me go and I could tell she was happy. ''I am not awesome Leylia. I only explained it, you did all of the hard work yourself.'' I said with a smile and raised my hand which she high fived. ''Again. Thank you. Next time if I do not understand something I will ask you right away.'' she said with a big grin and I sighed. ''We are friends... you are supposed to do that in the first place.''I joked. ''I will see you on the 14th alright? Bye.'' I said and waved. ''Byeeee!'' Leylia said and left the school to head to her own part time job.

''A week huh? You are not going to ditch me when you like working there more than here right?'' Waltz asked as we put the books where they belonged. ''I wouldn't dare. I already felt bad for asking next week off to begin with.'' I answered. ''Yes, I know.'' Waltz said with an amused smile on his face. ''I think you will do fine though. Remember, I will pay a visit on your final day there to see if you completed your assignments and hear from you what you have learned.'' I nodded and sighed. At the least it was better than a presentation in front of the class. When I finished the Powerpoint presentation about the history of medical practise, I pretty much prayed to every deity whose name I came across I'd never had to do that again. I still did not look forward to showing Waltz around having to explain things about a company I've only been at for a week. After my shift he waved me off and I took the bus home. I could not help but feel being watched though and looked around at the other passengers in my line of sight. One woman stood out, her hair the color of the sun that shone through fog. She was minding her own business listening to music as she looked outside. There was something about her though I could not quite place and it made me feel uncomfortable. I turned my head away the moment I saw she moved her own. Staring after all was rude. I left the bus at my stop and as I watched the bus drive off before I headed home.

The internship was anything but dull. James showed me multiple departments including those of Damien and Matthew. There were people who turned the concept art into actual first draft toys which then would be reviewed. James told me that a toy would often have multiple test versions until the final product was done. He showed me the first versions of the Halloween toys I helped Matthew design as well and they indeed had underwent some changes to make them more attractive for the public. I got enough space to walk around, but was put to work as well. I after all had a variety of assignments both given to me by school and by myself. As for the problem, it was actually very hard to find one. It was not exactly a problem either but they on occasion were faced with leftover fabrics varying from small scraps till remains of cloth that were not in enough quantity to use resulting in quite the amount of waste for something that was actually still useable. My suggestion about making patchwork doll dresses or patchwork stuffed animals was actually well liked. It could create variety in the same toy without it being a limited edition since all toys that would have the patchwork clothes would be different. Although I had my doubts about this being a type of solution school intended for me to solve. On the second last day however I noticed something was wrong with James. He did not say much and seemed having some trouble to remain his kind and calm self. It reminded me a little of the day I did those career choice tests where it had become clear. He got home later than usual last night as well.
