((The .5 chapters involve Waltz and Erik. It will not be long chapters though (at least I think. It's always a mystery and gamble with me too) and they can be skipped if you are not into this kind of thing, without missing anything in the story))
Waltz looked around once more in the nightclub. The dance floor was filled with people. Well people? Once every two weeks on the Saturday this place was only for Demons and other supernatural beings. Waltz despite his name was not much of a dancer and regardless of the night he came here to get a break. ''Won't you dance with us handsome?'' A female voice said putting. Waltz looked up noticing a girl with purple hair, ears and a tail accompanied by a fairy. ''Yea it will be fun.'' the fairy said and Waltz only smiled at them kindly. ''I am sorry. I am sure the both of you are lovely girls and company but tonight, I do not think I can give you the attention you deserve or seek.'' he said. ''Ahww...'' the catgirl pouted and walked away with her fairy friend. ''And he was such a handsome guy too.'' she muttered. Waltz watched them walk off and sighed. He on occasion indulged himself with others but he did not feel like it right now. Actually not had been for a while. Most of his relationships had been only based on physical attraction. He blamed his Angel side for that, those with Angel blood were seen as very attractive and those he hooked up with were very willing. It could have been his Incubus side too although that was a side he suppressed if he could.
''You look like you need another drink.'' Erik said as he placed a glass of bourbon in front of Waltz. ''Thanks..'' Waltz said accepting the drink. ''Do I really look that horrible?'' Waltz asked as he looked at Erik who was cleaning some glasses. ''More like something heavy is weighing on your mind.'' Erik answered. ''Also judging by the way how you declined the offer of those girls. They have been looking at you for quite a while.'' Erik said and Waltz chuckled as he twirled the drink around watching it coat the ice cubes in the glass. ''Well if you need a listening ear I do not mind giving it. I am older than I look. Perhaps I can give advice.'' he offered. ''Thank you for your offer. I am not certain however if I should bother you with this.'' Waltz said and took a sip of the bourbon. ''I help people all the time. If you want to tell me and not have me remember I can drink with you.'' Erik said and Waltz could not help but to laugh briefly. ''I know for one I myself am not going to drink that much.'' Waltz said and sighed but decided to talk. He might as well, it was not as if he had others he could share this with in his direct environment. ''It's my sister. After a long time I finally got to see her but she... lost her memories because of Demon magic. She does not remember me or most of her life for that matter because of that. However, her life has been... harsh. She is starting over and looks so happy. I want her to remember me but if I lift the demon magic or remind her of who I am she will lose the peaceful life she has now and deserves.'' Waltz took another sip of his drink. ''I'm watching over her from a distance but it is hard not being able to tell her. Every time I see her it is as if my heart is ripped apart.'' Despite his words, he smiled but it was a bitter smile. ''I know your pain.'' Erik said as he rested against the counter. ''One friend of mine is in the hospital, another friend got hit by a hellforged weapon and can't remember much. She remembered nothing at first but slowly she gets her memories back. However, she is afraid to remember at the same time which is preventing her from remembering more or at the least make the process go slower. She will not tell me why though and whenever it is brought up she changes the subject.'' Erik said and sighed. ''A hellforged weapon? Your friend is lucky to be alive. As for the hospitalised one, I'm sorry to hear that.'' Waltz said with a serious expression. ''Thank you. Just like you with your sister, I hope that I can do something for my friend. But I do not want to force her either. Perhaps what you could do is to talk with her. Not about her memories at least not at first. Someone told me that there are physical memories and mental ones. Also that not everything completely goes away unless one is baptised. So... perhaps she still has some familiarity with you. My friend remembered our voices and that she could trust me and my brothers. I hope that it's the same with your sister and you.'' Erik said and gave Waltz a gentle smile. ''I do think it is brave what you are doing. Many surely would've broken the spell to make the person remember again but you are considering how it might affect her now. Your sister must be lucky having a brother such as yourself.'' ''And your friend is lucky to have you.'' Waltz said and finished his drink. ''Is that a tingle of hope I see there?'' Erik teased and Waltz grinned. ''Perhaps. I am not sure what I'll do exactly but I will think over with what you said. As for your friend, I can look into it. Perhaps there is a way to undo its effects. I will need to research it a bit first.'' Waltz' words seemed to both shock and delight Erik. ''Are... are you serious?'' he asked and Waltz nodded. ''Just give me time to find what I need.'' Waltz said and Erik seemed relieved as well. ''Got a note for me?'' Waltz asked and Erik nodded giving him a sheet from the booklet where orders were usually written on. Waltz took a pen and wrote some things on it. ''This is my phone number. If you need to reach me you can call me.'' Waltz said as he gave the note to Erik before paying his bill. ''Don't you need mine?'' Erik asked. ''I know where to find you.'' Waltz said with a wink and left the nightclub.
