''Another date?'' I teased Erik as I peeked over his shoulder in the kitchen. I just had gotten home from school and the scent of baked goods had me going to the kitchen instead of my room. In the oven was a lazagne he had probably prepared a bit earlier. ''Yes. I hadn't imaged it to be so soon, the other was four days ago.'' Erik said. He was practically glowing. He reminded me a bit of myself and Damien. ''Do you love him?'' I asked and Erik looked at me. ''Love huh...'' he said as he put some decorated cakes in a lunchbox. ''I am not sure Incubi can feel love but it is more than friendship. I think though that Ezeq is way to busy for romance no matter who tries it.'' Erik said and I gave him a gentle smack on the head. ''If you don't ask, you will never know. I'll be rooting for you.'' I said with a smile. ''Angel...'' Erik looked at me surprised before offering me a cupcake which I gladly accepted and tasted. ''It tastes really good Erik. I love strawberries in the cake itself.'' I assured and he nodded. ''By the way... does the offer still stand? For him helping get my memories back I mean.'' I asked and Erik nodded. ''If you want I can ask Ezeq if it is fine to postpone the date and take you with me to see him. The both of you haven't seen each other yet right?'' Erik asked and I shook my head. ''We haven't but... no rush alright? Perhaps in the weekend? Go to your date. I do not want to ruin it.'' I said with a smile and headed towards the door. ''Oh Erik?'' I said and he looked at me. ''Yes?'' ''Incubi can you know? Feel love. Even more than most races because they are sensitive for things such as passion.'' I said before leaving. I tried to focus on homework until dinner was ready but Waltz' words that he said before Sam had picked me up, kept distracting me. He asked that tomorrow he and I could talk and I could not help but feel nervous. I spoke with Waltz before so why I felt like this was strange. There was a knock on the door and Damien asked if he could come in. I let him and put down my pen. ''You alright?'' Damien asked and I nodded. ''Homework, or at the least I am trying to.'' I sighed. ''Nervous about talking to your mentor?'' Damien asked and I nodded. ''Yea... I am not sure why but... he sounded so... serious.'' I admitted. ''It is short notice but if you like I can join the both of you if that helps you.'' Damien suggested but I shook my head. ''It will be fine.'' I said. ''Not to mention it is probably something private. I do not think he would want someone he does not know joining the conversation.'' ''You're right. Still, if you need someone to talk to I am there for you.'' Damien said and I nodded before giving him a hug and a kiss. ''Dinner is ready. Shall we go?'' Damien asked and I nodded. Erik was already gone and we enjoyed the prepared lasagne with the five of us.

''Miss Anderson, please report to my office.'' the voice over the intercom was that of the Dean and I sighed. I was in the hallway with my other classmates on my way to the next class. ''What is wrong?'' Leylia whispered and I shrugged. ''I do not know... one way to find out.'' I said as I turned around. ''See you after class?'' she asked. ''I have to go to the library after this. Was supposed to go after this class. Could you tell Waltz I'll be a bit later if I haven't come back yet when the class is finished?'' I asked and Leylia nodded before I left. I had no idea what the Dean needed me for but I hope it was nothing bad.
On my way to the Dean's office, my mind was going on a rampage what this might be about. Had something happened to one of the boys?'' I started to feel really anxious and I checked my phone. There were no messages but I also noticed that there was no reception. I put my phone away and realised that I was all alone in the hallway while it was busy just mere seconds ago. Something was wrong and flashbacks from the bus accident and the devils flooded my mind.. ''...Izroul!...'' there was nothing. No portal or other things appearing. ''IZROUL!'' I tried it again but still nothing. ''Calling for your boyfriend? I made a barrier. Even if he does hear you he will not be able to get in. Now. You were supposed to go to the Dean's office right? I am waiting.'' I recognised that voice. ''Cassindra...'' my voice was filled with anger and hatred. What the hell was she up to this time. I first thought about just going there and see what she wanted but I did not feel like following her orders either. I turned around and headed the other way. The school was empty including the library. ''You are going the wrong way...'' Cassindra teased. ''Where are you!'' I called. I could hear her but not see her. ''The Dean's office of course... I told you to come there right?'' she replied on a bittersweet tone. Every fibre in my being told me not to give in but if this was a game, Cassindra was the master now. ''And when I reach you then aht. Are you doing to take me to the Demonlord?'' I asked. ''Ahw the brothers told you my surprise... a shame really. The man who painted your skin with scars. Who made the dungeons resound with the screams of your pain while fucking you over and over... he misses you you know? He was delighted when I told him I found you but was less pleased with the situation you were in. Honestly I do not know what your problem with him was. As long as you cooperate he is fine to hang out with.'' Cassindra said and giggled. ''Well sorry that I do not share both your wicked ideas of how to spend time or how to treat other people.'' I hissed. ''Did you know that the blood you shed was never scrubbed off the floor and walls?... He often came back and showed his anger on other prisoners. Thinking what he would do with you when he would find you and have you brought back to him.'' Cassindra continued. ''Shut up...'' I said feeling the lump in my throat increasing. ''Only if you come to me. If you don't, I will continue with saying his curved dagger was dragged over your skin. How he licked the blood off you. How he held fire so close to your skin it started to bubble and when he let electricity surge through your veins...'' Cassindra sounded as if she was turned on by all of this. I on the other hand felt things click within my mind. ''Fine I'll come to you just stop it....'' I said and Cassindra stopped much to my relief. I walked towards the Dean's office where I saw Cassindra sitting on his chair. ''Where is he. Where is everyone...'' I asked. ''Not to worry, we are in a so called barrier world. Everyone is simply attending their classes. I figured that killing everyone would not give me your cooperation.'' Cassindra said as she twirled her hair. ''What is this about. I am supposed to be somewhere later. If you are doing this to take me to the Demonlord, just get it over with.'' I snarled. ''Such an impatient Angel you are. And you missing your appointment with your mentor is the least of your worries.'' Cassindra purred. ''Izr...'' I whispered and Cassindra laughed before looking pleased. ''I think we have already established that calling for your bastard boyfriend is not going to help you. I am surprised you are in a relationship with him though. An Angel and a Demon. I wonder, if I turn you over to Heaven would I get my white wings back.'' she pondered and shrugged. Either still considering the idea or not finding it worth the effort. I felt a heavy feeling in my head and stumbled backwards until I hit a wall. ''Also, you were going to the Angel soon weren't you. That is why I decided to show myself again. Even though you know his name you still have not remembered him for who he was. If you tell me his name maybe I could help you.'' she teased. As if I would tell her. Despite Ezeq was probably not his true name, I had no reason to give her something she could not find and apparantly wanted. ''Pass. As for the Angel, who is he supposed to be for me then...'' I asked and Cassindra smiled. ''Hmm should I tell you? I might as well. You know, for an information broker he was really badly informed. He never looked up where you lived, or who you lived with. Just like the fact that the Demonlord's escaped previous harem girl was you. Never really asking the right questions when it involved you. When speaking to those Demon brothers you live with, not once has he asked for your name. You are always referred to as 'their friend'. But seeing the development from afar that I could see was entertaining. His suffering makes up for the fact he snatched Mika away and broke the spell I put on her. But I just could not allow you both to meet one another. He does often vanishes and there are more moments where I can not sense or see him than moments where I can so I did not want to take any chances. Hence I also made this barrier. In case he was watching I did not want him to interfere.'' Cassindra got up from her seat and approached, placing her hands next to both sides of my head to pin me against the wall. I could feel her breath on my skin and her hollow eyes were piercing right through me as if looking in my very soul. ''Tell me what my relationship with him is...'' I demanded as the heavy feeling in my head fortunately started to ebb away. ''You are even slower than he is.'' Cassindra sighed. ''Assuming that you know his situation, the sister he constantly blabs about is you.'' she continued. ''And since he is an Angel... you are too. It is not, how do humans call it again. Oh right... Rocket science.'' Cassindra said. Her right hand moving to my chin and held it so I could not look away. Ezeq my brother? She was joking right? Right?...
