Haru loved Hogwarts with all of her heart. She really, truly did. Even though she lived in the muggle world, she just felt more of her element in the wizarding world. However, there was something about coming home that was amazing.

The muggle side of Haru's family was extremely close. They constantly were holding barbeques, birthday parties, and bonfires. Haru was lucky in the fact that her family wasn't annoying and prying about what she wanted to do after high school. She'd have to come up with an answer on the spot, and she wasn't prepared for that.

The only thing that her family was nosy about was her love life. In previous years, she'd have to let them down and say that she was single. Of course, they'd come back telling Haru to date Namjoon, and she'd want to throw up because it's Namjoon. This year was the first year she would give them some good news.

"So Haru," her aunt Rhonda started and Haru knew what was coming. "You have a boyfriend yet?"

"I do, actually," Haru replied with a smile. All of her aunts and older female cousins let out a synchronized gasp.

"Is it Namjoon?"

"His name is Taehyung," her dad stepped in. "He's a good kid," he said, smiling down at his daughter.

Haru told her parents about Taehyung's condition when she came home from school. Lycanthropy isn't the kind of information you want flying through the air. It could end up in wrong hands, and then Taehyung would be sent to Azkaban.

Haru's parents were very supportive of everything, and her dad was even a little jealous of the fact that Haru was an animagi. Her mother needed more explanation about animagi, and she was a little angry about the fact that Haru was unregistered, but overall she was supportive.

A million and one questions were getting hurled toward Haru. How tall he was, how old he was, where he went to school, if he was from around here.

"What does he look like?" One cousin asked.

Haru looked away in concentration. "Well, he looks kind of like him," she pointed and all eyes followed her finger.

Sure enough, Taehyung was walking into Haru's backyard. Haru left her family's excited whispering as she went to see what the hell he was doing here.

"Why the hell are you here?" Haru asked, marching up to him.

Taehyung put on a hurt expression, "That's no way to greet your boyfriend."

Haru smiled, genuinely, and brought Taehyung into a tight hug. She inhaled his distinct smell that she had missed. He smelled like the woods, lavender fabric softener, vanilla, and just... warmth. Haru felt so comfortable in his arms that she almost forgot that he showed up at her house.

"I missed you," Haru mumbled before pulling back and assuming a hard expression, "but why the hell are you here?"

"Surprise?" Taehyung awkwardly smiled, shrugging.

"You're gonna get it," Haru pointed a finger at him as they started walking back to her family.

"Please don't be mad at me," Taehyung pouted. "I thought a surprise would be a good thing. I missed you a lot."

Haru turned and smiled at him, "I'm not mad at you. I'm just going to throw you to the wolves."

"The what?"

"Aunt Rhonda!" Haru called, taking Taehyung's hand and dragging him toward the crowd of women. "This is my boyfriend, Taehyung!"

Before her eyes, Taehyung was swallowed by a crowd of middle-aged women who wanted a piece of him. Not in a creepy cougar way, but in an affectionate way. They were asking him questions all at once, the same questions they asked her, but he handled it much differently than Haru did.
