Scenario 1 You were walking through the market like any other day when a shimmering light caught your eye. You looked over and saw a new booth that was selling jewelry and small daggers, all made of a beautiful crystal substance. They were quite pricy but they weren't imported and you had never seen this kind of crystal anywhere near your home. You asked them where they got it but they snapped at you, saying it wasn't your business. You had decided that if the wouldn't tell you, your just have to follow them and find out. Later that night they snuck away and you followed them to a little hidden lake with a dock. The two men walked to the end of the dock where you saw Kessho chained to the dock. (Like the picture) One man doused him in water, making his legs turn into his tail. He begged them not do whatever it was they were doing but they didn't listen. One man started ripping off his scales one by one, making his tail bleed as he screamed and cried out in pain. While one man tore off his scales the other made sure he stayed wet. A while later they stopped, collecting the scales and leaving the poor merman crying, bleeding, and in pain. What do you do?
