Meryl woke up two mornings later feeling more relaxed since...well, she didn't remember. The babies seemed to be feeling safer and more protected in the past few days which made her and Don feel much better. She stretched and smiled when she thought about how all the time alone with her husband had thoroughly melted her bones. She didn't know if she had EVER felt more loved and beautiful thanks to her husband; though it seemed like she often felt that way thanks to her husband. She turned on her side and watched him peacefully sleep; and the smirk that was on his face as he did so. Her Don. Her husband. She didn't know how she was so lucky to have been loved by him for over half her life. She had to blink past tears as she thought about how she almost lost him. She knew she was strong. She knew she could come back from anything; but she didn't know how she could ever come back from losing him. He was everything to her; and she knew he felt the same. She ran her fingers over his face as she thought about all the places in the cabin they had made love in the past few days. They finally got a rhythm down with the babies; and they were able to steal time together and concentrate on one another after settling the babies down for the night. Then they would come up so she could feed them for their late night feeding before she and Don went to sleep. That is exactly what happened the night before. She rolled his shirt up his perfectly toned body and placed sweet kisses on his stomach and chest; she smiled as she looked down and saw Big Don waking up. However, when she looked up it looked like he was still asleep. She moved to straddle him, still very mindful of his leg that was still healing, as she started kissing his neck. She smiled as she felt his hands go to the back of her ass. "I knew you were awake."

"You sure woke up certain parts of me." Don growled as he flipped her over on her back as she squealed in delight. "How did you know I was awake?"

Meryl giggled at her husband as he pushed up her tank top and started to lavish her flat stomach with kisses. "You can never resist grabbing my ass when I'm on top of you."

"I can never resist..." Don hungrily kissed up his wife's body to her lips. "Any and every part of you."

Meryl wrapped her legs around his waist as she could truly tell that every part of him was now awake. "I couldn't resist kissing your body. Should I apologize for waking you up?"

"Depends..." He smirked at her. "If we could have been doing this sooner then maybe you should apologize."

Meryl took his finger in her mouth; licking, sucking and swirling her tongue around it. As she felt Big Don grow against her she knew he was thinking about how she did that to Big Don the night before. "How can I make it up to you? I can't have my guy mad at me."

"Me." He shoved his tongue into her mouth as things were starting to heat up really quickly. "You." He ground himself against her stomach. "Shower." He knew he had her right where he wanted her when he could hear her moaning and squirming against him. "NOW."

Meryl laid there breathing hard as she saw him hop off her and run to the bathroom; she quickly followed. "Oh, you better make that up to me, Gummer; or I'll find a man who can."

"Never." Don turned around and scooped her up in his arms, kissing her with intense need. "You still want another man?"

Meryl pulled his head back to hers. "Only you; now, get me in that shower."

It didn't take long for Don and Meryl to rip each other's clothes off the other. As soon as Don made sure the water was just the right temperature for his wife he helped her get in and she quickly pulled him in with her; attaching her lips to his body. It didn't take long at all for her kisses to make Don go weak in the knees. Both of their hearts raced as their kissing intensified with the knowledge and hope that their lust and love for another would finally come to completion; just like it had done so many times in the past 48 hours but that did nothing to satisfy their hunger for each other-it only intensified it.
