TONY's POINT OF VIEW
New York- Tony and Cheryl's Home
5:37 p.m

We were all sitting at the dinner table eating with each other. I saw my beautiful wife and my two children as I looked around the table. I absolutely love it when we have our family time because we can talk, laugh and smile together.

"How was your day at school, kids?" I asked them as I took a bite of my food.

"Fine, I guess." Ciyle added. He looked so much like me. Except, he actually had some hair. Both him and Cai had curly hair along with the same smooth caramel skin.

"And what about you Cai?" I asked her. She just shook her head and looked at her food. I knew that something was wrong. "Come on. You do this every time we eat dinner together. Cooperate, please." I told her. I looked over at Cheryl and noticed that she just shook her head at me and mouthed something. I couldn't make out what it was that she wanted to tell me across the table.

"Huh?" I said as I put my fork down.

"Let's move on, Tony." Cheryl finally said aloud. I was confused but I wasn't gonna push it anymore than I already have. Cai can sometimes be in one of her teenage moods sometimes.

"Excuse me. I'm gonna go to bed." Cai said as she stood up from the table. We all looked at her and watched her leave.

"Me too." Ciyle said as he then stood up, grabbed his plate and disappeared into the kitchen along with Cai.

"What in the hell is going on?" I asked Cheryl as I pushed my plate away.

"Just let them be. Long day today." Cheryl said as she continued to eat her dinner.

While Cheryl and I cleaned the kitchen- I wanted to ask her about the baby thing again but I wanted to wait a little bit. I hope she says yes.

CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

"Babe, I don't understand what's gotten into these kids. Like-....never mind. Anyways, how was your day?" He asked me as he started to sweep the kitchen.

"Uhm, it was pretty good. Oh my gosh, baby- guess what?" I said excitedly. He looked up at me and raised his eyebrow.

"My Best friend has a woman and they are engaged. Her name is Lorah and she is really pretty. I like her so far." I said as I started wiping the kitchen counters off.

When I wasn't looking, I felt Tony's arms wrap around my waist from behind.

"That's good that he has a woman. Now he can stay away from mines." Tony said as he kissed my neck. I removed his hands from my body, sighed and walked away. "What baby?" He asked as he put his hands out.

"We agreed not to bring up the past anymore." I said in a low, upset voice.

"I was just-....I'm happy for him." Tony said as he pulled me over towards him. "Stop acting like that." He said as he held my waist and looked me in my eyes. I rolled my eyes and looked away from him.

"I apologize, Mrs. Riley- Grant. I truly am." He said as he pecked my lips. "Pleaseeee, forgive meeee." He then started to sing in his smooth voice. I didn't want it to but a smile started to grow across my face. "Uhmmm hmm. Yeah- you love it when yo man sings to you? Huh?" He said as he laughed a little bit and moved a piece of hair out of my face.

"I can never stay mad at you. Just don't do it again because what happened 10 years ago will never happen again." I assured him.

"I know." He said as he sat me on the kitchen counter and stood between my legs.

"Tony! Put me down. Stop playing all the damn time. Ciyle or Cai could walk in here at any moment." I told him as he started to kiss the middle of my chest.

"They'll Be Alright. I'll just tell them to leave because their Mommy and I are in the middle of making another Grant baby." He said as he started to kiss my lips. I laughed a little.

"Move Tony." I said as I continued to laugh a little and he finally moved to let me down.

"This ain't over." He said as he continued to sweep.

"Mom." Cai said as she walked in the kitchen.

"What did I tell you?" I said to Tony. Tony just laughed.

"Huh?" Cai said as she looked confused.

"Nothing. You need something?" I asked her.

"Uhm....yes." She said as she tilted her head three times to show that she wanted me to come here.

We made our way up to her room and I sat at the edge of her bed.

"What's wrong, baby girl? I showed you everything that I needed to show you and I educated you on it all." I told her as she sat down on her painting stool.

"I know but I feel like I'm about to die. Why does my stomach hurt like this?" She asked me.

"Oh, that's probably just cramps. You just need to take some pain medicine and lay down." I told her as I waved it off.

"I-....I can't just lay down. I have to finish this painting." She said as she pointed at it behind her.

"Simple then. Just take some pain medicine."

"Okay...I-...I already hate this." She said in a whiny voice.

"I know, baby but it's apart of life." I said as I looked at her. She nodded her head.

"You haven't told Daddy, have you?" She asked me. I shook my head no. Cai then nodded her head as well.

"That's all?" I asked her. She looked at me and nodded her head.

"Sorry for asking all of these questions. I just-...." She said but I cut her off.

"Baby girl, come on now. I'm your Mom. I want you to ask me questions. I'd rather you ask me questions than to ask a random stranger some questions. I'd never steer you wrong. You can talk to Mommy about every and anything. Even boys..." I said as I winked at her. She started laughed and looked away.

"Uhmm....okay, Ma." She said as she shook her head and started to paint all over again.

"I'll be downstairs." I told her as I walked up to her, kissed her forehead and walked out of her room.
