CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
I was so scared. Only because I didn't know entirely what Cai knew and because I didn't want her to have any knowledge of any of this that was going on. However, I had to face it.
After the kids finally came home from school, I watched Cai as she went upstairs. She didn't say hi, give me a hug nor look my way.
After I said hi to Tony and Ciyle, I made my way up to Cai's room.
I knocked on the door and then slowly walked in.
"Hey, Cai." I said as I closed the door behind me. She sighed and looked at me. She was painting...as usual.
"Not gonna say hi to your Mother? How about giving me a hug?" I asked her as I stood behind her and watched her paint.
"Hi." She said as she then went back silent.
"Cai, I have a question." I asked her as I then sat on her bed.
"Yeah?"
"Do you have something to say to me?" I asked her as I raised my eyebrows.
"Something like what?"
"Anything that you know that you want me to know..." I said as I eyed her. She looked back and stared at me.
"Mom, let me just say this..." she said as she turned around to face me. "That baby, is apart of a big lie. I know that lie and I will also tell Daddy the lie. I know what you and Shemar are doing, Ma. I'm not stupid and you two aren't that good at sneaking around. Maybe Dad doesn't see it but I do. I saw him come here two days ago and not come out for an hour....while Dad was here." She said in a calm voice.
"Cai, you don't know anything, Okay? You're wrong. He is just my best friend and this baby is not apart of a lie."
"And you just keep lying, huh? What happened to when I was little you told me..."Never lie. Lying is bad." and now look at who needs to put action to their own words? How can you just fuck him in-..." She said but I cut her off.
"HEY!" I said really loudly. She finally rushed to shut up and gave me this upsetting glare. "You know nothing." I told her.
