CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
Once I made it upstairs into Tony and my bedroom, I sat at the edge of the bed and just cried.
"Ma? You okay?" Cai asked me as she walked in.
"Go back to bed, baby. Yes, I'm fine." I said as I looked up at her and wiped my tears. Cai and Ciyle ate dinner earlier so that they could go to sleep but I guess that I woke up Cai.
"You sure?" Cai asked me.
I nodded my head and put my face in my hands. I then covered my mouth, ran to the bathroom and threw up.
"Ma! See, I knew you weren't okay." Cai yelled as she ran after me in the bathroom.
"I'm fine." I said as I then threw up again.
"You need to get some rest. You're sick." She said as she grabbed me a wet face towel and waited for me to finish so that I could fix myself.
"I'm okay." I said as I moved my hair back and started to cry.
"I'm just-...I got upset and I guess I'm not feeling well because of it." I said as I stood up, flushed the toilet and grabbed the face towel.
"Why were you upset?" She asked me as she watched me wipe my face.
"No reason. All you need to know is that I'm fine. You can go back to bed, Alright?" I said as I went over towards the sink and started to wash my face.
"Okay...well, do you want me to go and get Dad for you?" She asked me.
"No, I'm-...I'm okay. I got this." I said as I continued to wet my face.
"Okay. Well, I love you." She said in a confused voice.
"I love you more, sweetheart. Goodnight." I said as I stood up straight and looked at her through the mirror. She then nodded her head and left.
Ugh, Shemar and his stupid ass. Made me so upset that I threw up- damn.

"You feeling better now?" Cai asked me the next morning.
"Way, wayyyyy better." I said as I smiled at her and kissed her on her cheek.
"Hi, Mommy." Ciyle said as he sat on a stool next to Cai and started to eat his breakfast.
"Hey, baby boy." I said as I handed him his pancakes and bacon. "How'd you sleep?" I asked him as I poured myself some coffee. We were all getting ready for a big day of school and working.
"Good." He said as he tried to fix his collar.
"Baby, where's your tie at?" I asked him as I went around towards him and helped him out a little bit. Both of my children went to a private school where they both wore uniforms. Ties were important for the young men and I liked it- teaches them professionalism.
"Upstairs." He said as he ate some of his bacon while I continued to fix his collar.
"Okay, go get it and tell Daddy to help you with it." I said as I kissed his forehead and went back around to fix up my coffee. I added some coffee creamer and sugar.
"I have an art show tomorrow. You coming?" Cai asked me. Ciyle jumped down and ran upstairs to grab his tie.
"I'm coming to all of them and that's a promise. I said as I smiled at her. She smiled back and poured some syrup on her pancakes.
