CAI's POINT OF VIEW
"Darleen, I don't know about this." I said as I shook my head really fast. I started to pace the bathroom floor as I looked at her.
"Cai, do you wan-..." She said but I cut her off.
"YES, I do!" I said as I looked at myself in the mirror. "I do..." I said as I closed my eyes and looked down.
"Okay. Well, you have it. So, do it." She said as she came up behind me.
"This doesn't feel right. I feel like-...I shouldn't do it." I said as I slowly opened my eyes.
"Look, I'll do it with you." She said as she turned me around to face her.
I slowly nodded my head.
"Okay. I-...I guess." I said as I watched her put her arm out in full view for me to "watch and learn."
"I'll go first." She said as she looked at me and then down at her wrist. I could see previous marks on her wrist from past occasions.
I was really about to do this...
After she made her mark...
I made mines as well.

LATER ON AFTER-SCHOOL AT REHEARSALS
"Good job, Caiya. You're doing very well." My Director told me. "You're leaning your lines and everything. I'm guessing that things are looking better for you, huh?" She asked.
"Yeah. They are." I said as I smiled.
I lied.
"Oh, how's your Mom?" She asked me.
"She's fine. I actually haven't seen her In a few days. I'm with my Dad's Mom for like a week, I guess. I think that I'm going over there tomorrow for the weekend though." I told her.
"Why aren't you at home?"
"It's complicated. Family issues and I guess I'm one of the issues." I said as I looked down at my script. I could feel her looking at me in an odd way.
"What happened to your arm?" She asked me as she looked at the bandaids that I had covering my new secret.
"Oh, I cut myself on something. Accidents happen a lot." I said as I softly touched the bandaid.
"Oh, okay. Well, you're not an issue, Cai. Don't feel that way. Your family loves you."
"Yeah but my Mom doesn't. She's cheating on my dad and now she's lying and telling him that I'm lying about her cheating with her boy best friend. Now, my Dad thinks that I'm a liar and I don't know what to do. They probably hate me but who cares? They'll listen soon though." I said as I nodded my head.
"Wow...uhm. What do you mean?" She asked.
"I mean that I'm gonna make them listen to me. They have to listen somehow, right? So, I'm gonna talk to them. Get me?"
I wasn't gonna talk to them. My arm was gonna talk for me.
"Yeah. I get you. Anyways, good job on learning those lines so fast and continue working on your blocking with Bobby, please. He's not that gifted in that are. He loves to face the audience and that's a habit we need to break." She said as she softly touched my shoulder.
"Yeah, I'll help him." I said as I nodded my head. "Thank you again for this opportunity." I added.
"You're welcome, sweetheart. You've got true talent." She said as she smiled and walked off towards the left side of the stage to check on the some kids who were working the lock rail.
"Thanks." I yelled as I walked away too.
Next, I bumped into Darleen.
"Hey, Best Friend." She said as she hugged me. Her and I had the same bandaids, in the same spot and everything.
"Hey." I said as I hugged her back.
"So, what do I do next?" I asked her."I'll tell you later. Anyways, good job at rehearsals. You're doing fantastic." She told me.
"Thank you." I said as I looked down at my arm.
"Oh, there's your Mom." She said as she looked behind me.
Why the fuck was she here?
I slowly turned around and sure enough, there she was.
"Cai...let me talk to you." She said as she came up towards me.
"Why are you here?" I asked her with some sass in my voice.
"I'm here bec-..."

Sister Knows What She Wants- IDEK what I'm doing with that thing. The only reason I haven't completed that is because I get a lot of reads on each chapter.....for why????
Sweet Butterflies- I've already reached 9 chapters for this short story. A few more and I'm done.
In conclusion, yes- my confusing self may or may not be trying to push out another book AFTER I said that I was done creating new books.
