The Next Day

Today, Tony was all touchy and I was kinda shocked. I guess that since we were actually spending time together he felt as if he wanted to be a little closer to me. However, some of this was making me uncomfortable.

Tony and I were at Ciyle's basketball game supporting him tonight and then, afterwards, we have to go and pick Cai up from rehearsals.
These rehearsals are getting longer and longer but it is dress rehearsal and tech week all in one. You would expect this type of stuff.

"He's doing good for his first game of the season." I told Tony as we sat in the bleachers watching him.

"Yeah, seems as if he's getting better and better. I don't understand where he got this stuff from. Nobody in my family can play or even want to play. What about yours?" He asked me as he grabbed my hand and held it.

"Not that I know of? Either way, we should keep him in this. Maybe he should even do some AAU basketball. Anything to keep him busy and active." I said as I continued to watch Ciyle play.

"I agree. I'm definitely gonna look into that."

"No, I can. You've already done a lot for the kids. Let me do something." I told him as I looked at him.

"Yeah but it's because I love doing things for the kids. Plus, I know that you've got things to do."

"Yeah, things like nothing. Let me have this one, baby." I said as I softly rubbed my thumb against his hand while we held hands.

"Okay. You can have this one. How's Inaya?" He randomly asked me.

Why would he bring Inaya up? I haven't even seen her for a while.

"Huh?"

"How's Inaya? Remember the other night when you didn't come home after we got into it? I assumed that you went over there, right?" He asked me.

"Uh, Yeah. She's good." I said as I lightly smiled and nodded my head. "She's very good." I added as I looked away from him.

"What about Shemar?" He asked.

"Oh, he's okay too. I saw him the other day actually."

"That's good. He should be here any second though." Tony said as he kissed the side of my forehead.

After he broke the kiss, I gave him a look of confusion.

"What? He's coming?"

"Yeah, He said that he wanted to be here for Ciyle's first game. Even though he's 5 minutes late, I'm pretty sure that he should be here any moment." Tony said as he shrugged his shoulders and continued to watch Ciyle.

I sighed and tried not to show that I wasn't interested in Shemar's presence being here but...

"I don't think you should have told him." I told Tony.
