CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
While at work, I got a text message that...I would never think that I would get ever in my life. However, I did.
It was Lorah asking me if her and I could meet together for lunch. Yeah, we did apologize to each other but...hanging out is something that I'm not ready to do yet. Its gonna me awkward but I didn't decline it- I'm just gonna go and see what it is that she needs to talk to me about.
At lunch....
"Cheryl!" Lorah said as she waved at me from one of the tables in the restaurant. Everybody looked at her and then at me...
I slightly smiled at her and made my way over towards the table."Hey, Girl." I said as I then took my seat in front of her.
"Hey. I'm so happy that you came." She said as she sighed, smiled and moved some hair out of her face. I nodded my head and focused on her and what she was about to say.
"So...what's been going on?" I asked her as I put my hands in my lap and gave her my undivided attention.
"It's Shemar. I know that maybe since, you're his best friend and all- maybe you know why he's acting this way. However, to begin....we haven't...yah know, in like- weeks." Lorah whispered to me. She then looked around to make sure that nobody was paying attention to what she was saying.
Good- I was hoping that he wasn't.
"Really?" I said in a shocking tone.
"Yes and...it's not like him. Plus, he's just barely talking to me and every time I try to get us some time alone to hang out...he always changes the subject. It's like- well, I feel like he's cheating on me, Cheryl. Do you think so? Do you think that he's been acting different lately? I just love him so, so much, Cheryl. The thought of his being with another woman makes me...feel-...hurt honestly. Very hurt." She added.
I shifted in my seat and softly shrugged my shoulders.
"Honestly, I haven't seen anything different. He still seems the same to me but...I'm not around him every day like you are. However, I can talk to him for you." I told her.
"You will? Thank you so much. I know that when it comes to you- he'll actually let you know what's going on with him. Please, let me know if he says anything- I just wanna know because I wanna be there for him."
"I'll do it and I'll let you know." I said as I touched her hand and smiled.

CAI's POINT OF VIEW
"Why didn't you tell me that your Mom was Cheryl and that your Dad was Tony?" Demetrius asked me as he sat next me to in art class.
"I-....nobody knows." I said as I continued to paint on my next art piece.
"Your Dad scared me, honestly. How he looked at me made me nervous as hell." He said as he looked at me and smiled.
"Yeah..."
"What's wrong?" He asked me as he moved his stool closer to mines. I looked at him, smiled and just shook my head.
"I'll be fine. My Dad is just...annoying sometimes. This year has been rough between him and I. I'm starting to feel like he just doesn't want me happy." I told him as I dripped my paintbrush into some paint.
"Why would you say that? We can always date later on." Demetrius said as he lightly hugged me.
I wasn't used to getting hugs from boys- it was awkward to me. However, he's right- maybe right now wouldn't be a good time anyways.
