CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

Later that night;

"Okay, soooo- the movie is starting." Tony said as he took a seat next to me on the couch and put his arm around me.

"I hope that this movie isn't boring, Dad." Ciyle said as he laid on the floor on his stomach and propped his head up.

"Boy, this movie is the best. Be open to new things that you've never seen before, Alright? Be like your sister and hush it." Tony told him. I just shook my head and watched the movie as it started to begin.

"No, thanks. It's a blessing that Cai's mouth is shut because when she opens it- the room starts to smell like onions." Ciyle said as he looked at Cai whom was sitting on the opposite couch. She then threw a pillow at him.

"Shut up! With your annoying as-..." she said but Tony stopped her.

"Really?!" Tony asked Cai.

I put my hand on my face and waited for everything to just calm down. Maybe this is the exact reason as to why we barely have family time...

Finally the room was silent and everyone was focused on watching the movie. I looked around and noticed that all of their eyes were glued to the screen. Finally, peace.

While we were watching the movie, my phone started to vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out to see who sent me a text message.

Of course it was Shemar still trying to apologize to me but I wasn't having it. Hell no.

"Babe..." Tony said as he looked at me.

"I Know, I know." I said as I put my phone away and leaned into Tony even more. Tony was who I was supposed to be with and it still hurts me to even look this man in the eyes knowing what I've done.

Tony doesn't deserve it and he never has.
I'm the horrible person because I can never stop- no matter how hard I try, I can never stop being hooked on Shemar. I keep trying my best to get him out of my head but I can't because he's the only person that I've came to trust from a young age to now.

"Ha. You got me some anyways, huh?" I asked Shemar as he snuck through my window.

"Yes and I promise you that my best friend is super spoiled, gosh." He said as he handed me the fries that I've been craving for far too long. He went all the way across town just to get them. Just for me...

"You know that you didn't have to climb through my window like that, right? My mom would have let you in. You're my best friend- she knows that you're not just a regular guy to me." I told him as I sat on my bed and started to eat the French fries.

"I knew that she was asleep. I didn't wanna wake her up, of course. I know that I'm not just any regular guy. They know that nothing has or ever will go down between us." He said as he climbed in bed with me and took a few of my fries.

"Okay look, have you finished that math homework that we were given the other day?" I asked him as I watched him lay on his stomach and look at me.

"Cheryl Ann...I don't care about math homework. All I care about is drama class- you know this. Can you do it for me smarty pants?" He said as he gabbed one of my pillows and laid his head down on it.

"Oh no. I'm not that smart, Shemar." I said as I gave him the rest of the fries and then laid on my stomach next to him.

"You have a freaking 4.0, what do you mean?" He asked me as he shook his head.
