CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

It's long.

"You're always over here, you know that?" Shemar asked me as he sat down next to me on the couch and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, you don't want me here?" I asked him. "Because I can leave." I said as I stopped looking at my laptop and started to stand up.

"I didn't say that. Stop." He said as he pulled me back down on the couch. "I like it when you're here." He said as he smiled at me. I continued to do some work on my laptop and just shook my head.

It was then silent.

"Well, how is everything going with Cai?" He asked me as he touched my leg.

"What's NOT going on with, Cai? She's been acting out so much lately and I-...I don't know what to do. Tony and I are trying though but she's a handful. We knew that she would be a handful when she was little anyways. However, we aren't ready for the heat just yet. Then, that child is always in my business. Always and I'm telling her that IM the Mom, not her." I told him as I took a deep breath and looked at him.

"She'll come around and hopefully she can see that what you and Tony are saying will help her in the long run. You want her to focus on something more important and I understand that." He said as he shrugged his shoulders and turned on the television.

"Ha. We will see how this goes." I told him.

"Stop working and come here." He said as he removed the laptop from my lap and put it on the table. Next, he moved sideways and I sat between his legs and laid back into his chest. "You know that I love you right." He then said as he kissed my temple.

"I love you too." I told him.

"How are my babies doing?" He asked me as he placed his hand over my stomach and softly rubbed it.

"Well, I'm fine overall. I've just been tired and I haven't threw up as much. I feel like this pregnancy is gonna be the easiest one out of all of the ones that I've had." I told him. "And he....She...whichever, is fine, I guess?" I said as I lightly laughed.

"You know what you and I should do?" He asked me. I leaned my head back and looked at him.

"What's that?"

"We should go over my Mom's house. We don't have to tell her...yet but I just want you to come with me. Plus, she misses you."

(This book has a lot of places mixed together that are definitely false in reality😂)

"Today?" I asked him.

"Yes, why not? You used to see my Mom almost every single day when we used to hang out."

"I-...I don't know. Shemar, we're already doing this wrong. I know you and I know your big mouth. You're gonna say something about it! You're the reason that she knows about what happened between us all those years ago and now it started back up all over again." I explained to him.
