             CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

The first thing that I needed to take care of was talking to Inaya about why the hell she was telling my damn business. So, I went to her house.

"Hey, Cheryl. What brings you by?" Inaya asked me as she let me in.

"Inaya, I could of sworn that you were a true friend to me. How could you tell my business? Especially to random people." I said to her.

"Cheryl, you should know me. I would never!" She said in defense.

"Well, how in the hell did my boss know all of this information? He told me that he found out about Shemar and I from you."

"Cheryl! Come on now. We've been friends for too long. Why would I tell your business? I don't just go around and tell people shit, Alright? That's not how I roll." Inaya explained to me.

Next, I told her about what all my boss said and she was actually really shocked. I already knew that Inaya didn't do it once he said her name the other day. I've known this woman for too long and I knew that she wouldn't tell what i've got going on. Mr. Lewis is just an ass and he wants to get under my skin.

AT WORK THE NEXT DAY

"Liking your new space?" Mr. Lewis asked me as he walked into my new office.

"Can you please leave?" I asked him as I sighed and closed my laptop.

"Look, I just came to apologize. I shouldn't have done what I did and I was wrong. I crossed some lines and yeah, maybe you're right- I have been with a lot of women in this building. However, you're just hard to get and apart of me likes that. In addition, I'll leave you alone. The papers that your husband brought the other day look...very real and I honestly don't feel like getting sued In the near future. So, I'll leave you alone." He told me as he sat in front of my desk.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it? You and I could have been friend but you just showed me that you....are gonna have to be watched, sir." I told him in a calm voice.

He lightly laughed. "No need to watch. I won't do anything." He said as he interlaced his fingers with each other.

"Yeah....I guess...." I said as I opened my laptop back up.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine."

"You sure? How's the baby?" He asked me.

I looked at him for a moment. "The baby is...fine." I told him. "You were wrong for lying on my friend. She didn't say anything about me."

"I just wanted you to believe me the other day. I can see that I succeed. I've never spoken to that woman a day in my life. I know a lot about her though and you too..."

"What exactly do you know about me, sir?" I asked him as I gave him my attention.

"I know a lot...about your marriage. I know about the people you love the most. I know about your kids and what schools they go to. I know a lot. I told you this- I know everything about everyone who works for me. I also noticed something else...whenever we talk about your baby, you change the subject. Why is that?"
