Everybody was at home and like I promised Cai, I was here once she made it.

"Hey, baby girl. How was school?" I asked her.

"I'm surprised- my Mother is home. School was fine." She said as she gave me a hug.

"Yep, I'm at home. Like I promised. Also, that's good. Your Dad said that you had to stay after school for something. What was it?" I asked her.

"Oh, nothing really. Just had to do some quick little thing for the school. Nothing major..." She said as she smiled and then went upstairs. 

"Oh." I said as I watched her go upstairs.
"Did she tell you what it was?" I asked Tony as he came into the house with Ciyle.

"No...I don't know what it was." He said as he pulled his phone out.

"Hey, Ma." Ciyle said as he hugged me.

"Hey, baby boy. How was school?" I asked him as well.

"Boring. I'm gonna go play video games now." He said as he shrugged his shoulders and ran upstairs.

"Do you have homework?" I asked him. He stopped and turned to look at me.

"No..." He said as he thought about it and then continued up the stairs.

"Uhmmm hmm, I'll be up there to check and make sure that you don't pretty soon." I said as I gave him a look.

"Ugh. Fine I'll do my homework." He then said in an irritant voice.

"I love you." I said as I laughed a little.

"If you really loved me you wouldn't make me do my homework." He said as he then disappeared.

"Anyways, how was work today, baby?" I asked Tony. He was still on his phone.

"Fine." He said quickly.

"Somebody important?" I asked him as I looked at how focused he was.

"Yeah, my boss. Anyways, I'll deal with him later. How was your day?" He asked me as he kissed my forehead. I smiled.

"Fine." I said as I grabbed his hands.

"Oh yeah, you told me that you were going to the doctor the other day. What did they say?" He asked me.

Awh shit.

"Ohhh yeah! I forgot to tell you what they said. All they said was that I needed to get some rest. That's pretty much all." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck.
