CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
8:00 a.m
SHEMAR's HOUSE

After my shower, I went over towards the mirror and tried to fix my hair just a little bit. I knew that I would have to leave pretty soon and as of right now- I'm just happy that I still have a little bit of time to hang out with Shemar. I thought to myself;

How is it that I became so weak for him? He came, played his game and suddenly grasped me back. Of course I love my husband but truth is- Shemar has always been the one that I've loved. It just feels so wrong, us foolin' around and sneaking just to even get a kiss out of each other. Maybe you'd think that I was over all of these childish games but it's not possible when you've secretly been in love with your best friend almost your entire life. It took me having a husband and two children to actually tell him my true feelings.

I looked down at my wedding ring and twisted it around on my finger for a while as I thought to myself. This time around, I didn't feel foolish- this is what I wanted...what I've craved. Love from Shemar.

After my morning routine, I went downstairs to make Shemar some breakfast. I looked around in the cabinets and even the refrigerator to find anything that I could make. What the hell has Lorah been feeding this man? There's nothing in here....except some ketchup and coffee. That's probably why he sends her to the store almost every single day. I didn't even know where Shemar was. I knew that he woke up early this morning but when I woke up, he wasn't in bed with me at all. Looked around the house- no where to be found. So, I got in the shower and now I'm here- waiting to see when he was gonna show up.

I just stood there, with one of my legs across the other and looked at my phone. That's when I heard Shemar come through the front door. He walked into the kitchen with a bag in his hand. He looked pretty decent. He had on some jeans, a solid polo shirt and his sunglasses. He smiled once he saw me standing there. He put the bag down and looked at me.

"Good morning." He said in a calm voice.

"Good morning." I said as I put my phone down and started to blush.

He laughed a little bit at my blushing and shook his head. "I-...well, I take it that you couldn't find anything to eat in my kitchen and so- I got up early to get some breakfast for you. My uh-....well, Lorah and I need to go grocery shopping." He said as he grabbed two plates and rinsed them off.

"I can see that. All you have is ketchup and some coffee. Total." I said as I watched him sit the glass plates down.

"Yeah...embarrassing. However, the real question is- why haven't I received my good morning kiss just yet?" He asked me and he looked over at me. I shrugged my shoulders and leaned against the counter behind me.

"Hmmm." He said as he then slowly walked over towards me. Once he was right in front of me, I reached up and took off his sunglasses. I smiled once I got a clear look at his eyes. He then leaned down and gave me an innocent, soft kiss to begin the day with.

He's really over here acting like what happened last night...didn't happen. How can he do that? It's been on my mind heavy ever since I woke up and I can still feel the places he kissed and touched- everywhere. He had me shocked. It was better than the first time two days ago...I'm weak.

"Did you see the towel and stuff that I set out for you?" He asked me as he touched my chin. I nodded my head.

"Thank you." I said as I smiled at him.

"No problem, baby. Aren't you happy that we had this time together?" He asked me as he reached down to hold both of my hands.

"Of course. We didn't really get to hang out and communicate but-..." I said but he cut me off.

"Yes we did. We communicated with our bodies." He said as he finally brought it up. I nodded my head in agreement, looked down at our hands and thought to myself. Shemar raised up my left hand.

"You put it back on?" He asked me as he examined the ring on my finger. I took my hand away from him and put it back down.

"Of course I did." I said as I looked down at it once more.

"Take that shit off." He said under his breath and walked away from me to eat his breakfast. He thought that I didn't hear what he said but I did.

"Shemar, why don't you want me to have it on?" I asked as I looked at him. He shook his head and didn't look up over at me.

"Come on, baby. I have to keep it on..." I said as I looked at him. He then looked at me and put both of his hands on the kitchen counter.

"I don't give one about you having it on. I just don't want you to have it on around me! You probably had it on last night, I can't believe that I didn't see it then." He said forwardly.

"Shemar, don't act like that. If you want me to take it off while being around you- I will." I said as I took the ring off and put it away in my purse again.

"Thank you." He said as the tension in the room finally went away.

"Anyways, I have to leave in about 30 minuets." I said as I pulled my phone out again.

"Leaving you enough time to eat breakfast with me."

"Correct." I said.
