Waiting

I've just come back home from a photo shoot with vogue and it's 8pm. I walk in to my shared apartment with Shawn and put my keys in the bowl and take my jacket off hanging it up.
"Shawn are you here" I yell making my way to the kitchen.
"Shawn hello" I yell again hoping for an answer but there's nothing.
I grab my phone checking my texts and he's messaged me saying he'll be home later I quickly reply and turn of my phone.
I go to my room and take a shower and put my pyjamas on and go to the living room ready to watch some Netflix.
Its now 12:15am, I've watched 6 episodes of river dale and eaten a lot of food and Shawn still hasn't come home.
My eye begin to flutter and then I'm sleeping on the sofa.
I hear the sudden noise of the door shutting and footsteps getting closer.
I get up slowly and check the time.
3:27am
I rub my eyes, then Shawn comes in to view.
He comes over sits next to me.
"Hey babe what are you doing down here?" he asks me whilst rubbing my arm up and downs slowly.
"I was waiting for you, where have you been?" I snuggle in to his warm body and look up at him.
"I'm so sorry hun I was just out with my friends and got caught up" he slightly chuckles
I smell the faint smell of alcohol from his sweet lips and notice how flushed his cheeks are.
"Shawn were you drinking tonight?" I remove my self from his arms and look at him.
"Yes but I only had 3 bottles of beer and you know i can handle my alcohol" he replies
I move my hand up to his face and my fingers lightly move across his lips, he pulls in closer to me and gently kisses me on the cheek.
"Listen I know you were probably waiting for me and I'm sorry for making you wait and I'll make it up to you I promise" he quickly says
"Oh Shawn it's okay I'm glad you go out and have fun even though I do worry when you come home late but it's only cause I care for you babe"
"I love you y/n"
"And I love you Shawn" I quickly peck his lips and begin to stand up, he stands up with me and grabs my hand.
"Let's sleep now I'm so tired" I say to him
He's nods in agreement and leads me to the bedroom to sleep.
