Y/n slides on her skirt then slips on her shoes walking out the kitchen pouring herself some coffee in whilst reading over her cases for today.

The door bell rings making her look at down at her watch seeing it's only six am and she wasn't expecting anyone. She walks over opening the door seeing a smiley Shawn Mendes.

"Hi gorgeous" he smirks making her roll her eyes. "Shawn, what do you want?" She asks moving to the side as he walks in. Y/n follows him into the kitchen seeing him lean against the marble island and he takes a sip of her coffee. "Ooh its bitter" He smacks his lips. "Like you" he says.

She takes the mug out his hands putting it to the side, y/n crosses her arms over her chest raising an eyebrow at Shawn.

"Okay okay, I'm here for business" Shawn admits. "I don't deal with cases at home. You can make an appointment with Sandra then wait your turn." She tells him sternly.

"But your going to want to hear this" he smirks making her question what it is. "I'm listening" she leans back on the counter hoisting her self up.

"My client David, wants a new deal against your client Kim" he states.

Y/n laughs shaking her head. "No way, that deal is perfect for Kim and you accepted"

"We agreed verbally not on paper so it's not acceptable"

"Your client is an armature. This is a petty case, I don't have time for this"

"You should have time for every case"

"Not when I have million dollar cases on my hands" she shrugs.

Shawn moves forward being closer to her. "You might be the best but don't get cocky" he places a hand on her knee.

"You called me the best yourself, I'm not agreeing to a new deal and if you were smart you would listen to me" she looks him up down his suit unintentionally licking her lips.

"Why don't you listen to me for a change?" He says brushing his nose against her neck. She nods at him taking his hair in to her hands tugging gently.

He kisses her neck up to her jaw the finally joins their lips, kissing slowly, pulling back slowly then slipping his tongue in and she lets him dominate the kiss.

She pulls back then kisses the side of his mouth placing a hand on his neck kissing down his vein. She unbuttoned his shirt then slides it of his muscular arms letting it fall to the floor. Her hands rest on his chest as she kisses down jumping off the counter.

Shawn holds her waist feeling around the material moving his hands to her bum squeezing it making her move closer to him so she can feel his breath on her skin.

Y/n connects their lips again, kissing for a long time increasing the tension between them. She pulls back smirking playing with a loose curl.

"Im not agreeing to the deal" she tells him poking his chest. "But why? Just do it" He groans squeezing her waist completely lost in what they were just doing.

"Nope" she walks past him taking a long sip of her coffee then passing it to Shawn who takes it. She grabs her bag then walks over to Shawn leaning up kissing his cheek. "I have to go to work now" she mumbles pecking his lips again making him frown.

"Oh handsome, I'll be back later" she giggles.

"Sign the deal please, I need to win this case"

Y/n looks at his pleading eyes and turns soft for a minute. "I can't, I've never lost a case and I won't loose one because I let my emotions get in the way" she says moving back but Shawn grabs her pulling her in to his bare chest.

"Emotions?" He questions. "The ruthless y/n, the best lawyer in all of New York has emotions and for me. I feel honoured" he jokes making her shake her head. Shawn stops laughing when he sees she's serious.

"I really do like you Shawn but I've never put anything before my job"

"Well I like you too even though you have had your moments. I won't make you stop doing your job for me, it adds to your character which I just so happen to love" he says cradling her jaw.

She bites her lips looking into his eyes just noticing how alluring they are. "I really have to go now but I'll see you later" she winks then walks away.

Shawn grabs her wrist pulling her back quickly kissing her lips. "I hope you win your cases and I'll be here waiting" he smirks pecking her lips.

"I always win" she laughs "I have you now" she pokes his chest making him laugh.

"That means I win too" he winks.
