Thats what i thought

He questioned their love but only in his mind. He thought that she would cheat, then look him in the eye and lie. It never hurt her or phased her how much she was hurting Shawn.

She stumbles in after a long night, trying to keep quiet but she fails. Her foot steps were loud and heavy making the clicking of her heels even louder. She bangs on the wall trying to hold something for support as she walks in to the living in the room. She recognises a figure on the sofa and flops down beside him.

"Hey, where did you go?" Shawn asks and she yawns loudly and snuggle is to his armpit as his arm goes around her.

"Out with the girlys, I missed my boyfriend today you know" she says and Shawn realises shes still in dreamland and doesn't know it's him.

"Oh did you have fun?" He asks.

"No not today, you know I go to lots of parties and stuffs but today wasn't fun. I missed Shawn and I just wanted to kiss him. He think I cheated on him but I never did." She says with complete calmness and Shawn's breath hitches.

"Why do you think that he thinks your cheating?" Shawn says, he's trying to see what he can get out of her almost worried that it won't work.

"I leave the house all dressed up and he told me I shouldn't wear stuff like that but that's not it. I go outside and Shawn's friends always check up on me and Shawn always messages me but one day he stopped. I was scared he was leaving me so I did something bad." She admits.

"What did you do?" He questions, afraid of he words that will leave her mouth.

"I erm checked his phone and he was talking about me. He told his friends to check what I was doing because he thought I was cheating. I feel bad for checking his phone. But I'm so stupid I didn't talk to him I carried on going to party's and whenever I told him I was leaving I could see he was sad but I never did anything but he never stopped me. I thought that Shawn would stop me but if he thought I was cheating why wouldn't he. I promise I never cheated I never would." She catches her breath and inhaled deeply.

Shawn pulls her in closer and tries to process what's happened. "Baby I did think that but I never stopped you cause I thought I would hurt you and you would be mad at me. I let you go because I didn't want to hold you back. I thought you was meeting better people than me. People who will let you live so I let you go whenever. I never knew what you were feeling. Darling we never speak anymore."

Her face drops and she realises she was talking to Shawn and she begins crying lightly. "Shawn I'm really sorry. I never cheated on you I promise. I would never" she whimpers and he feels his heart break. He feels her heart beat quicken as she still lays in his arms and his chin rests on the top of her head.

"Please don't apologise. I thought you was cheating. I never wanted to speak about it because I was scared. I don't want to loose you baby" he admits and she lets go of Shawn and looks up at him.

She leans in and kisses him gently holding his face. He kisses back with just as much passion as her and he lifts her up to his lap and she straddles him and pulls back looking in to his eyes, stoking his hair.

"Please talk to me Shawn. I promise I'll stop going out. I'm going to stop. I'll listen to you and hold you and I won't leave." She whispers against his lips and tears fall down his cheeks.

"I'm not leaving either baby."
