I Feel Better

You know when you're sat there with your work piled around you, you think about everything that's stressing you out then stress that your stressed because know the stress is all piled up and nothing can take it away. Thats what she was feeling.

Y/n groans loudly slamming her pen on the desk, completely frustrated. Her hands set in her hair tugging as she looses her mind. She picks the pen up again putting it against the paper but nothing flowed.

"I'm home" Shawn yells laughing to himself, flicking his shoes off entering the study. Y/n groans not looking up at him rubbing her eyes roughly.

"Woah thought you would be happy to see me" Shawn says sarcastically swivelling her chair around, she looks up at him with tears in her eyes.

"Hey what happened?" He crouches down holding her knees and his features soften. "Nothing is working" she whimpers crying in to her hands.

"It's okay baby, what is it?" He talks softly making her heart melt. "My work, it's all a big pile of shit. I don't like it" she tells him looking up as he cups her cheeks.

"Can I see it?" He asks her looking straight in her eyes playing with her hair that fell from her bun. "No" she mumbles leaning against his hand. "Well that's okay then, when you want I can see it and we can fix it together" he nods at her kissing her forehead gently.

"No I need to finish it now" she tells him trying to turn around in her chair but he holds it still. "Come with me" he stands up holding his hand out, she looks at him hesitating to take his hand.

"Come on babe" he takes his hand in hers and pulls her up. She walks behind him following him inside to the garden. He sits down and pulls her in to his lap sideways.

He kisses her cheek softly then she falls on to his chest sniffling. "Should I tell you something?" He speaks up. She nods still looking down playing with his necklace.

"I wrote a song today" he says making her look up. "That's so unfair" she huffs her eyes looking straight in to his. "And why's that?" He asks.

"Because you can write such amazing songs and I can't even write a sentence about anything" she pouts.

"The song is about you" he tells her and a smile tugs at her lips. "Me?" She asks completely in disbelief.

"Yes you" he bops her nose making her giggle. "About how much I love" he says making her fall back on to  his chest. "You're so sweet, what's it called?"

"Fallin All in You" he tells her. "When can I hear it?" She asks him. "It should be done soon, you're the first to hear all my songs"

"Shawn?" He hums a yes in response holding her close. "I love you"

"I love you more babe" he kisses the top of her head then watches as her eyes flutter and she falls asleep in his arms.

Through two hours Shawn didn't get up, he only moved to grab his phone that's it but other than that he held her close as she lightly snored in to his chest clutching on to his shirt as she slept on his lap.

She moves around slightly then looks around seeing how dark it's gone and the garden lights have turned on. Y/n brings a hand to her eyes rubbing them gently and Shawn watches not saying anything in case she wants to sleep again.

Y/shuffles up and moves her head up from his chest and she looks at him sleepily. "You look gorgeous" he pecks her lips.

She smiles against his skin shaking her head. "I'm sorry I fell asleep" y/n yawns making Shawn chuckle. "It's okay love, you were so tired and I could tell because you only snore when you're really really tired" Shawn says tucking some hair behind her ear.

"I should finish my work now, I feel better" a smile tugs at her lips. "Okay, let me know if you need anything" he tells her as she gets up and he follows.

"I will" She nods then leans up kissing him softly. "I'll make you some tea" Shawn says and walks away to the kitchen as she walks to the study.
