Shawn held his sons hand as they were walking out of McDonalds. He had just picked him up from school and decided to treat him. Of course a few people recognised him but he would try so hard not to put his son in the public eye as y/n really wanted him to be out of social media at least till he's older.
"Come on Noah, I'll pick you up" Shawn grabbed Noah and picked him up easily. Shawn grabbed his sunglasses out of his back pocket and put them on. "Dad can I wear them?" Noah asks pointing to the sunglasses.
"Yeah sure" Shawn took them off and placed them over Noah's eyes and moved some of his curls back. "You look so cool buddy" Shawn laughs.
"Daddy look at those flowers" Noah yells as they walk past a flowers shop. Shawn stops and looks over at them "so nice, mummy likes them a lot. Look like the ones from our garden" Noah points out making Shawn smile.
"Let's get some flowers for mummy" Shawn walks into the shop and puts Noah down holding his hand.
"Excuse me miss, can I have a bouquet of those red roses please" Shawn says to the lady, she nods and walks over cutting a few roses off and putting them in a bunch. "Daddy" Noah tugs Shawn's arms making Shawn bend down to his level. "What's up?" He asks.
"And the yellow ones" Noah says.
"Show me which ones" Noah runs up to a ray of yellow sunflowers and points the them. "Ooo and these" Noah says running to some tulips. "Daddy and these two" Noah points to some pink flowers.
"How about you tell the nice lady which ones okay and she'll put them together" Noah's nods his head excited about his task.
The flower lady cuts ten of each flower that Noah picked out following him around the shop. Shawn watches in amusement as he excitedly ran to each flower saying how much his mummy will love them.
Finally there were 8 bouquets of different flowers ready to take home. With the help of the lady and Noah and Shawn all the flowers were in the back of Shawn's car.
Shawn parks the car and helps Noah out. "Okay I'm going to pass you two flowers okay be careful and wait for me at the steps" Noah nods. Shawn hands him the two bouquets and grabs the other six in between a his arms.
He struggles to open the door but eventually does. "Mummy?!" Noah yells, "Noah we was supposed to surprise her remember" Shawn whispers chuckling to Noah.
"I'm in the kitchen" she yells.
Shawn walks behind Noah and they enter the kitchen both of them smiling like crazy. "Hey boys I'm just making something to eat, Shawn will you change Noah?" She says quickly still not turned around, she carries on cutting the vegetables.
"Mummy look" Noah says making y/n put down the carrot and turn around. She sees Noah holding two bunches of flowers and wearing Shawn's glasses and her heart melts at the sight. Her eyes travel up and Shawn stands grinning holding six bouquets.
"Oh baby" y/n kneels down to Noah's height and pecks his cheek. "For you Mummy. Me and daddy picked them" Noah's says proudly handing her the flowers.
"Thank you I love you so much" she says kissing him again. "And I love your sunglasses" y/n comments making Noah giggle. "Mummy I need to go pee" Noah says wiggling around making Shawn laugh. "Go then quick" y/n says grabbing the flowers out of his hands as he runs out the kitchen.
She stands up placing them on the counter and looks to Shawn walking up to him. She grabs the flowers two by two and puts them with the rest. Y/n then goes to Shawn leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Thank you Shawn" she blushes and wraps her arms around his torso leaning her head on his chest.
"It was Noah's idea" Shawn says making her smile even more. "Well I'll thank him again then" she laughs.
She looks up at Shawn and presses her lips to his. Shawn grabs her waist and pushes her to the counter. She lets out a small moan as the kiss gets more heated.
Shawn squeezes her bum and she jolts forward to him. He smiles in to the kiss then pulls back going down her neck.
They hear a gasp and y/n pushes Shawn off her. They both look down and see Noah.
"The flowers. You was squishing them" he says. Y/n and Shawn laugh at his reaction and apologise to him. "Go sit down Noah dinners ready" y/n says going back to the vegetables and Noah runs out.
Shawn wraps his arms around her waist from behind and puts his head in the crook of her neck. "We're carrying this on later" he mumbles.
"Yeah yeah, now put the flowers in some water" she says smirking leaving Shawn in the kitchen.
