"That was the last session done!" The nurse tells her making a smile fall on to her lips. "After six months, we've seen so much progress and now you don't have to come here anymore" She smiles.

After leaving the small building, the therapist recommended she did something that would make her happy, to celebrate, celebrate that she was happy now.

Y/n got in her car and drive to the one place she needed to go. Her hands began to sweat and her stomach churned.

Inhale deeply, now 3 2 1 exhale, let the thoughts leave your mind, your body and focus on the good. Now inhale deeply...

She pulls in to parking and gets out of her car. Her legs take her to the door but before knocking she pulls the necklace out of her top and clutches on to it, kissing it gently. She tucks the silver chain back and brings a hand up to knock against the white painted door.

She steps back waiting for someone to answer. The finally door opens revealing, the boy she loves. "Y/n?" He asks completely confused.

"Hi Shawn" she takes in his appearance, he looks mature and to say he was good looking was an understatement. "Come in" He opens the door wider letting her walk in.

"The place still looks good" she smiles looking around, remembering how a year ago he would kiss her at the doorstep, chase her around the living room and hold her on the sofa.

"Thanks, lets sit down" he walks over to the white L shaped sofa and sits, she follows keeping a distance between them.

"How have you been?" She asks him meeting his hazel eyes. "Good, everything has been amazing" he says with a smile on his face.

"How so?"

"Oh well my album came out, I did some festivals, I'm half way though touring and I met-"

"Shawn do you remember that party? From a months ago" she cuts him off. He chuckles lightly "I've been to a few, you'll have to be more specific" he says.

"Oh erm, Brian's party. I was really really drunk and we spoke, remember?" Her eyes filled with hope, all she wanted was for him to remember.

"Yeah, yeah I think I remember" that's all he says making her heart thump. Does he not remember the sweet worlds her spoke to her like she remembers.

She reaches behind her neck and takes of the necklace. "Give me your hand" she says pulling out her hand flat. Shawn hesitantly moves forward placing his hand in her so his palm was facing up.

The silver chain hits his skin and the ring now clear on display. "Ask me again" she says looking at Shawn as he looks down at the ring.

"Y/n I need-"

"Shawn please, you said you would wait and I'm here now. I took your advice I fixed myself up I promise I'm not that drunk, arrogant girl anymore. I promise Shawn. Now ask me again, I'm ready" her voice so soft, innocent and all the things she wasn't a few months ago

Shawn goes to open his mouth but is cut of by the sound of the door shutting. "I'm home love!" A sweet voice shouts.

Y/n looks towards the door, a brunette walks in. Her hair long and shiny, her makeup beautifully done, she looked perfect.

"Oh hi, I'm Lola" the girl smiles.

Y/n looks at Shawn again and then the girl. She stands up shaking her hand. "Y/n it's nice to meet you" she forces a smile.

Shawn stands up going next to Lola putting an arm around her waist. "So what's going on?" Lola asks looking at Shawn.

"Nothing babe, she was just leaving" Shawn says gently kissing her cheek. A tear falls down her face seeing the man she loves show this kind of affection to someone who wasn't her.

"You said you'd wait" she mumbles wiping her tears. "I don't know what you're talking about" Shawn says his voice hitting a sudden aggressive tone.

"Calm down Shawn, would you like some tea? Please sit down" Lola smiles. Damn it why does she have to be nice she thinks to herself.

"She won't be staying" Shawn says grabbing her upper arm leading her to the door. Lola walks away letting Shawn handle it.

"You liar!" Y/n shouts hitting his arm making him let go. "You said you would wait! I went to fucking therapy! You said you would marry me! You would be ready! Liar!" She shouts breaking down into loud weeps.

"You're obsessed" Shawn mumbles.

"Who even is she? Did you promise her that you would marry her? Did you tell her about me or the other girl you almost married?" Y/n shoves his shoulders but he doesn't budge maintaining an angry posture.

"It's been months and I've changed!" Shawn yells back.

"B-but you said" she sobs. "You're so afraid of commitment" she wipes her face with the sleeve of her coat. "You promised me love and you broke that promise" she cries.

She reaches for the handle opening the door. "People move on y/n" Shawn yells at her as she walks down the hallway. Her loud sobs probably clear to anyone living near by.

She chokes on her own cries and now begins to hiccup, she pushes open the door grabs the nearest bottle. "ID please" the man says. She shows the man, pays and gets out opening the bottle.

The taste of alcohol reaching her lips after six months and three weeks.

She lifts the bottle again and again to her lips stumbling in to the building. She kicks open the door taking a seat on the cream coloured sofa.

"I-i need more help" y/n stutters.

"Can I take the bottle away from you?" The therapist sighs easing the bottle out her hands.

"Am I hard to love? Do I not deserve love?" She asks lying down looking up seeing stars.

"We all deserve it we just have to wait" the therapist says sighing as she looks at the broken girl.

"I d-did wait and now I'm... well I'm this now"
