He sat, cuddling with his lover watching Killers. He didn't know what thoughts ran through her mind and this scared him. She was never one to speak her mind, she wanted to remain quiet and even after being in a year long relationship with Shawn she still remains shy around him.

Of course Shawn knows more about her than anyone else. He knows that she prefers to be hidden and doesn't like the loud life where as that was Shawn's life. Filled with millions of people who knew his name and even cried just by hearing his voice, she wasn't the same as him. I guess opposites do attract.

"Shawn?"

"Yes darling" he replies in a voice softer than hers.

"When are you going?" She asks and his heart races, he hasn't mentioned that he had to go. Even though it was just for a month he didn't mention it.

"What do you mean?" He asks trying to act clueless but she clearly remembers when she found out.

"Hey y/n are you coming with us to Europe, Shawn is so excited" Geoff tells her and she grows confused never hearing of this.
"Oh erm I didn't know, when are you guys going" she asks more intrigued.
"Like next week on Tuesday, I'm sure Shawn will tell you he's so excited" Geoff says clueless to the fact she didn't know.
"Yeah I'm sure he will" she mumbles.

She blinks a few times and sits up next to Shawn facing him. "You know what I mean Shawn, you're going to Europe" she says gently, no matter how mad she was she couldn't raise her voice at him, she didn't want to hurt him even though he was doing the damage.

Shawn shuffles and scratches the back of his head then brings it down to rest on her thigh. "Erm on Tuesday" he says nervously and she nods. "Is that all, you're going on Tuesday?" She says confused and obviously hurt at the fact Shawn didn't tell her and he still isn't saying anything.

"How long for?" She says keeping calm and Shawn inhales deeply "one month" he replies shortly. "Where you going to tell me or just go?" She says slightly more frustrated at his answers. He doesn't reply he just stays sat there his heart racing faster and his palms sweaty. "Shawn, hello" she says and grips his hand and he flinches but holds her hand and brings it to his lap.

"I was, I promise and I was going to ask you to come with me but I don't know" he says fastly and she pulls her hands back and sits back. "But you didn't, you're going tomorrow Shawn. You were going to leave and not tell me." She says realising herself that he was actually not going to tell her. "You weren't going to tell me" she mumbles.

"Please don't make this harder" Shawn says and she scoffs. Shawn grows confused never seeing his girl like this. "I'm making this hard? You were the one who was going to leave me. All confused and hopeless, you never were going to ask me to go with you, you just wanted to get away. Did you plan on not calling me either to tell me?!" She continues raising her voice.

"I can't believe this" she says and gets up feeling uncomfortable and wanting to leave. "Where are you going?" He asks and stands up in her way. "I'm leaving, enjoy Europe" she says and tries to get past him but he holds her arms and forces her to hold back.

"I didn't tell you because I know you wouldn't want to come. You hate the loudness and how crowded it is. I know you baby, you wouldn't have wanted to come with me" he says and she shrugs her shoulders back giving him an evil look.

"You wouldn't of known that cause you didn't even ask, what if I wanted to come, I would've if you wanted me to. In fact I would've dropped everything to go with you cause I can't stand being without you and even if I didn't want to come you were still going to go and you didn't tell me. Don't try to blame this on me" she says and Shawn's eyes fill with sadness.

"Shawn I'm leaving, enjoy you're trip and don't call me or do, I don't know. Just let me go I don't want to watch you leave especially now. You know if I never found out and you just went would you have called me and told me you were gone?" She asks and he thinks carefully.

"I don't know" he mumbles and she stands back and turns away but he twirls her back. "I'm so sorry. I'm so fucking stupid I should've told you and you could've came with me and I'm sorry for being a fool darling." He says and presses his forehead against hers and she doesn't move.

"I'm not leaving you, never. I'm just scared cause I know you hate being away from me and I hate being away from you. Maybe I was just scared at how you would react and how you would've coped and how I would but I feel like a complete idiot now and I wish I would've told you sooner but you can still come with me I can book you're flight and we can go" he says and she looks in to his eyes seeing his sadness but she's hurting even more.

"Shawn I don't want to come. Not anymore, you go and have a nice time but come back to me okay. Just don't call me while you're there. I think, well I know we need time apart and this could end up being good for us" she says and Shawn's heart flutters, this is why he loves her she always tries to be positive.

"Baby that will be too hard" he says and she nods "well you were going to do it anyway" she mumbles and he cups her cheeks. "I'm sorry my love" he says and she leans up to kiss his cheek "it's okay, we need this." She says and kisses his soft lips.

His hands go to her back and she holds his neck kissing deeper. She pulls back and looks him in the eyes, both of them breathing heavily. "Remember don't call me. I know it will be hard but don't Okay. Just remember to come back home to me please, I'm going to wait for you and you have fun and don't think about me, of course we're still together so don't do anything stupid okay. I'm waiting for you" she say and he feels calm.

"And I'll come back home to you my love" he says and kisses her.
