I'll Come Home 2

Y/n sat impatiently on the floor of her living room, after the conversation with Shawn last night she felt as if she would break if she spent another minute away from him.

"Daddy's coming home baby!" She tells Jonah as he lays on his back playing on the play mat. "Baby J, I'm so excited" she smiles and Jonah makes a noise making her smile.

The front door clicks, loud voices are heard as well as suitcases being dragged across the wooden floor. She grows confused, it was just supposed to be Shawn, who else is there?

She walks cautiously out the room looking back at Jonah then walking out. "Oh my god Shawn" she says in disbelief, running up to him wrapping her arms around his neck.

He lets go of his bag and wraps his arms around her body picking her up slightly. She breaths in his scent snuggling her head in to the crook of his neck, her eyes tear up and she starts crying.

"I missed... you so much" she says in between sobs. Shawn rubs his large hand over her covered back "I missed you too darling" Shawn presses a kiss to her shoulder and closes his eyes smelling her strawberry scented hair.

"Why are you crying my love?" He asks still holding her. She pulls back and leans her forehead against his "I missed you a lot" she lets out a laugh. Shawn let's go of her and wipes her tears "no more crying okay" she nods and presses her lips against his.

They pull back after the short kiss and she looks around seeing his friends stood there awkwardly "I'm so sorry guys" she laughs out of embarrassment and goes to hug them all "I even missed you guys" she admits standing next to Shawn, he finds her hand and holds it tightly.

They all laugh at Shawn's emotional wife but it's soon disturbed by a crying. "Oh my god" she mumbles letting go of Shawn walking in to the living room seeing Jonah crying. She hurries over to him and cradles him in her arms.

"Please J stop crying" she hushes him, Shawn and all the guys come inside seeing what's going on.

"Here give him to me" Shawn says sitting beside her in the floor, she puts Jonah in his arms and the crying stops. "He's been crying almost every hour" she says looking over Shawn holding Jonah lightly rocking him.

"I guess he likes me more than you" Shawn smiles looking down at Jonah who is looking back with wide eyes. "Hey baby" Shawn coos lightly stroking his cheek then going to his small hands, Jonah grips Shawn's finger and y/n's heart melts.

"Oh no he's gonna cry again" y/n says seeing Jonah becoming sad again. He lets out a loud scream and cries. Shawn tries to hush him and all the boys laugh at his attempt. "He needs feeding Shawn" she says and Shawn nods passing Jonah back over to y/n who takes him away to be fed.

"Hey she looks happy" Brian says and Shawn nods smiling "I guess she was just stressed, I mean I went away and left her with our baby" Shawn says sadly.

Soon y/n comes back in with a giggling Jonah. "Look it's uncle Geoff and Uncle Mike" y/n says in a baby voice. "Give him here, I missed the little guy" mike says, y/n places him in Mikes arms and sits next to Shawn.

"You okay Hun?" He asks looking down at her she nods placing a kiss on his cheek. "Yeah I'm a little tired but I'm okay, how was the flight?"

"I couldn't sleep" he admits and lets out a yawn.

"You guys can sleep if you want we'll look after Jonah" Mike says and Shawn nods getting up giving a hand to y/n. They're just about to walk out but y/n stops.

"He needs feeding in like an hour, there's bottles made just warm them up for one minute then test them on your hand, if it's hot don't give it to him. If he cries wake me up okay, give him that blue turtle teddy and-"

"I think they got it babe" Shawn says grabbing her waist pulling her away "but Shawn what if he hurts himself or if he-" Shawn cuts her off pulling her into their room and planting his lips on hers.

"Nothing will happen, I promise" he says holding g her face. "Now let's sleep yeah, I've missed holding you" she nods and blushes following him to the bed.

He takes his shirt and pants off and she slides down her jeans leaving her in a grey oversized jumper. They get in bed and Shawn grabs her waist pulling her close to him so her back is against his chest.

His arms go around her body and he holds her securely then pulls his leg over her legs locking her in. Finally kissing her head she smiles to her herself feeling relaxed finally.

"I'm glad you're here Shawn"

"Me too, I missed you love. Now let's sleep I'm sure Jonah has been keeping you up".
