Priorities 2

1 month after the argument
"Andrew I'm not coming in" Shawn sighs walking in to the bathroom as y/n slept peacefully. "I'm taking time off, I need it"

"Okay, you deserve it anyway Shawn. I'll speak to you soon bye" Andrew ends the call and Shawn puts his phone down looking at himself in the mirror shaking his hair. He brushes his teeth and washes his face then leaves the bathroom seeing y/n lying on her side on her phone.

Shawn climbs on to the bed getting in beside her, she feels a dip in the bed then put her phone down turning around. "Morning" He says kissing her nose. "Morning".

"I want to kiss you but first let me brush my teeth" she giggles then gets up rushing to the bathroom.

She gets out then jumps on Shawn's back making him groan. He turns around then holds her thighs as he sits up to be level with her. "Come here" Shawn says then she leans in giving him a sweet kiss.

"Hmmm minty" y/n laughs at him then kisses him again. "Come on I'm making breakfast" he mumbles against her lips then picks her up carrying her out the bedroom in to the kitchen placing her on the counter.

Shawn stands in between her legs then places his hands at her hips. "You sit here and I'll make the coffee okay" she nods at him then he walks around the kitchen making both their coffees.

Once he's done he holds both mugs. "Let's go sit outside and grab the muffins please love"

She nods hopping off the counter grabbing two muffins following him outside. Shawn places the two mugs on the table and then sits down. Y/n follows but sits on his lap snuggling up to his chest. "You smell good" she mumbles in to his neck then places small kisses at his skin.

"It's that Hugo Boss cologne you bought me"

"Oh that's why I like it so much" she admits looking up at him.

"Didn't you have work today?" She asks him leaning forward grabbing both their mugs passing Shawn his. He mumbles a thanks taking a sip. "Yeah but I wanted to spend the day with you"

"You did?" She asks in disbelief. "Yeah am I not allowed to?"

"Of course you are"

"Then why are you so surprised?" Shawn asks her moving his arm around her waist. "I don't know, I guess it's because you always choose your job over me." Y/n says mumbling the last part which made Shawn's heart break in to two.

"I've changed, I promised you. You're number one on the list babe" he kisses the top of her head.

"And you're at the top of mine" she tells him quickly pecking his lips.

They sit beside each other making small talk whilst drinking their coffee. They are eventually left with empty mugs and hold each other as it starts to get colder.

"Can we go in it's getting colder" Shawn nods getting up grabbing the two mugs and he follows y/n inside. She grabs a blanket as she sits in the sofa and Shawn joins her pulling her in to his lap.

"You know I love you right?" Shawn asks. Her heart races and her cheeks flush a tint of pink. "Wait why are you blushing?" He teases.

"You haven't said that in a while, it's nice to hear" her hand cups his face and she leans in kissing his soft lips. "And I love you more" she mumbles against his lips continuing the kiss.

It got more heated as Shawn's hands push her up to straddle him and his hands rest at her bum squeezing every so often. Y/n pulls back panting leaning her head back as Shawn kisses down her neck mumbling words of admiration.

"Gorgeous"

"Beautiful"

"So pretty" he moans then sucks gently at her skin. "Shawn"

He continues kissing her skin not stopping as he gently undoes the buttons of her silk pyjama top. "Shawn stop"

Shawn stops looking up at her. "Did I do something wrong?" He asks with worry filling his body.

"Oh god no, I just... it's been a while, can you slow down?" She says shyly.

"Of course, just tell me if you want to stop my love" y/n nods at him and he continues unbuttoning her top pushing it off her shoulders revealing her black lace. "I forgot how perfect you are" he mumbles talking to himself.

"Shawn can we go to the bedroom" she asks and Shawn nods picking her up, y/n kisses his neck placing a hand at the base of his neck as she sucks on his skin. "I love you" she mumbles.

Shawn sets her down then climbs between her legs. "I love you more babe, I'm going to show you your my number one priority" Shawn says confidently and she nods bringing his head down joining their lips in a steamy make out.
