"Come in" y/n giggles pulling Shawn inside. "Everyones already here" she tells him going behind him to take his jacket off. "Everyone?" Shawn sighs.

"Just you, me, Brian, Geoff, Teddy, Zubin, Eddy, Sam, Ian and Ted" she lists as they make their way to her living room.

"Take a margarita boys and girl" Ian yells walking in with a tray of margaritas. "I'll take one" y/n smiles taking one and sitting on the sofa. Shawn ignores it and sits beside her.

"Shawn you want a beer?" Ian asks. "Nah I'm good"

"Vodka?" Brian asks but he shakes his head no.

"Tequila?" Y/n asks.

"I don't want anything. Stop asking!" He shoots making y/n jump. "Okay mr moody" she gets up walking up to the speaker connecting her phone to play some music.

She moves her hips and shakes her hair making the boys laugh. "Mike dance with me" she pulls him up. "Come on Shawn!" She laughs. She puts her hands out towards him but he rolls his eyes.

"Shawn why are you being so difficult?" Brian asks then takes a shot of vodka. "I don't want to dance" he shrugs.

Y/n nods then turns back around grabbing the bottle of tequila taking a large sip before she starts dancing again in the middle of the room.

"I have an idea" she giggles then runs away. She returns holding a bunch of towels. "Time to get in the pool" she laughs throwing the towels at the boys and one at Shawn, she turns around then goes outside and they follow.

She doesn't bother taking off her clothes instead she jumps in wearing her shorts and white tee leaving her shoes and socks. The boys throw their tops to the side and jump in splashing around her. "Shawn get in!" She splashes him with water as he stands to the side.

"I don't want to"

"Ugh why the fuck did you come then? To sit and watch is having fun whilst you sulk over a girl who's cheated on you more than twice?"

"Y/n stop" Geoff places a hand at her shoulder. "Why? We're only having this party to make him feel better and he's sat there being all moody" she shouts harshly.

"I'm going inside" she mumbles getting out of the pool drying her body then she goes inside.

Shawn huffs then follows her inside. "What? You come to complain to me because I'm not interested in hearing about that girl" she spits flopping down on the sofa.

"She hurt me y/n and I need my friend right now" he huffs sitting beside her.

"For gods sake Shawn! I've been hearing about that shitty girl for the past three months and it's funny you say that you need a friend" she scoffs.

"I've been there for you since you got with that rat but you pushed me away and I'm so gullible to keep coming back to you"

"But you were always so negative" Shawn shoots making her sit up.

"Well it's not exactly a positive thing telling your best friend that their partner is cheating!"

The boys walk back in looking between each other sensing the awkwardness. "I'm sick of it, I'm so tired of being there for you when all you do is throw me away." She gets up abruptly.

"I don't want to be that friend that gets nothing in return when I give my all" she sighs dropping her shoulders. Shawn gets up huffing.

"So your saying I never gave you anything?"
Y/n nods.

"So what about your fame? Your money? Your friends?"

"You can have it all I don't care. You want the money back I'll pay you back tomorrow, you want your friends? Tell them to stop seeing me. You want the fame? I'll quit my job" she points her finger at him then folds her arms over her chest.

"Y/n stop" Brian places a hand on her shoulder. "Tell him how you feel, for real"

"No" she shakes her head. "I think I understand how she feels" Shawn spits.

"I hope you get in to your thick head that i don't feel anything for you. Get out!" She shoves him making him stumble back.

"Y/n tell him for real" Ian says.

"For real huh? That I love him? It doesn't make a difference. Shawn Mendes is a selfish man and I don't want that in my life. And I won't say it again, get out!" Tears prick her eyes.

"You love me?"

"I shouldn't and I wish I could get rid of the feeling so please for the last time leave" Shawn nods walking out. Y/n falls in to Brian's arms weeping.
