Sonara didn't know what just happened. All she knew was, she had streams of tears down her cheeks.

Almost sixty soap solids broke into pieces and lay on the ground right now. Unlike any other day at work, she couldn't pick them up properly from the conveyor belt. And they just demolished!!!

The workers around stared. She felt giddy. The rain last day had floored her down. When she woke up in the morning, she was running fevers. Hence such mishap, otherwise Sonara was quite proud of her efficiency at almost any job given.

In no time Sunil Chhetri reached the spot.

Sonara was afraid of him today. Quite much.

Till date, he didn't find a single fault on her part. Otherwise he had himself warned, he would let her go only if she caused major losses to the factory.

Was this a major loss? Sonara hardly knew. But she knew one thing, she didn't really want to lose this job anymore!!

Faultering, she tried explain her physical condition. Sunil Chhetri turned off the conveyor belt on her part.

And then stared at her, calmly declaring,

" Sonara Parvez, you are fired. "

Jai almost creeped through the gardens of the Shettys.

He knew he'd receive a huge lot of swearwords today. From his girlfriend. Cause he didn't prove to be a proper boyfriend, yet again.

All he prayed was Samar Shetty not be around, that's all. Rest, he could manage.

Reaching the portico, he was elated!
Samar Shetty's huge Bolero was missing. But what elated him more was Som's Royal Enfield parked at a side.

Som was in! His savior was in!

Quite confident now, Jai pressed the doorbell. The door was beautiful.. Very beautiful, with green climbers almost guarding it.

Som opened the door.
Jai smiled wide, but his smile lost spark with Som's extremely stern face.

" Finally, you had time to visit your girlfriend after two long days. "
Som arched his lips. And went inside.

Jai slowly followed suit.

The living room was empty. Som went and sat on a single seater.

Jai cowardly occupied another and kept looking around.

" She's sleeping.
She's running fevers. Since yesterday. " , Som said.

" Ohhh!!! Why??? "

Som cringed his nose and stared at him for sometime. Then shrugged,
" Because viruses decided to have a party inside her body!

I haven't heard of a more stupid question!! "

Jai stared at the ground, embarrassed.
" No... I mean she didn't call me..... "

" Did you call her? Oh I remember, you were visiting her yesterday morning, right? What happened then? Lost directions midway?? "

Jai coughed.
" No, actually yesterday Maya told me to stay home.... We had a friendly dinner...."

" Dinner? I didn't really know dinners start at ten in the morning!
By the way Bhoomi didn't, but I called you, that too not once or twice, complete fifteen times! "

Jai fell silent. What was he supposed to say? He now cursed Som's presence. Bhoomi would really have been an easy handle.
