Humaira Raichand drew aside the curtains to the dark room, letting in loads of sunlight. She then switched off the AC, threw open the windows one after the other.
Next, she walked over to the huge picture adorning the wall next to the windows. She picked up the garland she had herself fetched from the door, and carefully placed it around the picture.
" Good morning Ninni. " , she smiled at the lady in the picture, who as if smiled back. She then struck matches and lit exactly two inscence sticks.
Praying in her mind, she slowly walked over to the figure who lay on the bed...watching the whole process everyday, with a tinge bit of smile on his face.
Humaira knelt down beside him, and placed a small peck on his forehead.
