Three days later, in Raichand mansion, a calm prevailed at the breakfast table, except for occasional illegible words by Humaira.
She sat on the table staring at everyone.

Siddhi constantly smiled at her and poked her belly from time to time.

" Her leg looks normal now. " , she threw the words to Sonara.

Sonara sat opposite to her, beside Jai, fidgeting with the bread..
" Yes...
I need to tie some bandages in the night. We cannot leave it like that, because it might relapse. "

" Mama baba huluuu " , Humaira suddenly said and made peculiar expressions.

Jai pulled her towards himself and whispered something into her ears. She squeezed her nose and giggled.
Sonara too patted her hand from the sides.

Siddhi stared at them for sometime. A calm happened to her.

She had been interacting with Sonara for the last three days.
She was an exclusive woman.
Her limitations in academics, did not hinder her growth as a human.
Her softness in speech, her ability to decide how much to speak, and to catch connects and emotions, had pleased her.

Sonara had even wanted to finish her incomplete studies soon, and she had time and again made her realise, that she was those honest kind of humans who deserved a second chance in life.

Siddhi's love for her son increased several folds over the past few days as well. His maturity enthralled her.

And the sweetest part amongst everything was...the baby. A breath of fresh air in her life full of anxiety and turbulence.

Her glance passed on to Maya, who seemed to be deeply engrossed in something over the past three days.
Siddhi had asked her minimally, but somewhere a guilt struck her too. Was Maya actually upset on her taking Jai's side today, and not hers six years back? Wasn't that very normal too? 

" Maya.... " , Siddhi called.

Jai and Sonara looked at her as well.

She stared back at them, a bit detached.

" Yeah.....sorry, I was thinking something.
Mom, Jai wants to join business again. I too wish for that.
And not as an intern, I'll appoint him as the COO.
I can convince the board as well, I'm very sure. " , Maya said.

Siddhi glowed, so did Sonara. She knew Jai had talked to Maya last night.

" I'll be....more than happy.. " , Siddhi said.

" Yeah, before Raghav Raichand returns, I want to settle a few things regarding Jai. That's only because I don't know how Dad will react, and also because Rangruchi is still owned completely by him and you, and the will has not been created.

Jai, you're joining office today, with me. "

Maya got up and left the table.

Suddenly, the weather inside the Raichand mansion seemed uncomfortable.

Jai looked at Sonara, then at Siddhi, and got up.

Sonara was pampering Humaira to sleep, when she heard a knock on the door.

She turned to see Siddhi standing.

" Aunty.... " , she smiled.

Siddhi walked in.
Humaira was not sleeping. She was disturbed. She squeezed her face and began wailing.

" Awlele my baby..... " , Siddhi grabbed her and pulled her from Sonara's lap and began patting her.
The kid was not calming down even a bit.

" She's missing Jai... " , Sonara softly said, because she wasn't really aware of how Siddhi's would react to this.
She however was too busy quietening the baby.
