Kolkata is flooding. Non stop rains since yesterday, flights failing to land, schedules getting delayed and cancelled. Overall a massacre around.
Amidst everything, I finished a novel that started on the 4th of April, 2018.
And this is the 17th of August, 2019.
Here, I look into my personal most favorite characters. I did not include all because everyone is beautiful in their own way, I love all because they are my children... but some are just closest to my heart.
•
Jai Prakash Raichand is a character that I could never typically stamp as an ideal protagonist. He was imperfect and too irresponsible at times to satisfy the characteristics of a hero. He had been a pain in the ass for the readers on several occasions.
Aurore is a the story of his growth, from a change in his perspectives to a change in his behavior.I hope you have liked his perfect imperfections.
Sonara Parvez has anyway been an ideal protagonist. She was calm, composed, sorted, responsible, and mostly correct in everything she did.
Aurore must have only made her more and more perfect.I am sure, most of you have been hugely fond of her.
Maya Raichand, when I created the character I did not know she would be the sole reason of many of you to read this novel. However, she's my favorite too, an angst lady with a disturbing past, who succeeded in providing major goals as an authoritative yet emotional woman.
I know you've only loved her.
Farhan Khan, I love him because he has been a breath of fresh air in several hypoxic situations when you and I have been gasping for oxygen.
Even till the end.I know you all have only good regards for him.
Bhoomi Shetty, she is my sweetheart. I've written some of the best dialogues for her because she's the character who has shown selfless unconditional love towards people in her life. She has known to accept situations and evolve, she has learnt to bear no complaints and love. Most importantly, she has given back Som the love he had for her because she knows what it is to be hurt while loving one sidedly.
Some of you had problems with her feelings towards Jai, but she's my favorite.
Lastly, my more favourite amongst the kids have been Humaira Raichand.
She has irritated you with her stubbornness much more than her brother.
But I find a mini version of me in her. I too am possessive about people in my life, am impulsive, reactive, but at the end of the day, I do love with all my heart. Hence, she's my wonderful girl.••
Now, I would like to thank each one of you who stuck to us till the end, showering immense love.
I would like to thank those who read or voted or commented or did all of these together.I bid adeu again, with a request to reach upto me with your few words, at least on the occasion of a novel's completion. It might be the last time I actually get to hear from you as a writer on this platform.
Good bye,
Have a good life...KAUSHITAKI
