Raqesh Chhetri banged his fist on the counter. The warden stared at him coldly.
" Do you leave yourself or I call the cops? " , she spoke sharply.
His insides were already fuming, for the past thirty six hours. Yeah, thirty six exactly.
" You bloody old woman, I'm not moving an inch till you spill out where Sonara Parvez went, who took her along. "
" I won't. " , she was a rock, exactly this way for all this time.
Raqesh had made almost ten rounds of the hostel, and he was devasted now.
He had taken Sonara too lightly.
His mind was so overwhelmed with ideas of having her as a toy, when she moved out of that secure chawl to a quite insecure hostel, distant from everyone. His heart danced when his father almost bought the idiot chacha against her.He believed, a job was a huge lot for Sonara, and she would fight but never leave this place so early, could not actually find another dwelling and a job this quick.
His only concern was the Raichand lad, and he had warned Sonara well with him.Yet, Sonara Parvez managed to flee.
Raqesh Chhetri failed in his first attempt, to revenge his merciless assault...
" Lady, for the final time I'm asking you, I need to get her soon! She fleed with my money why don't you understand? " , he had been lying for sometime now.
But the warden didn't bear a crease on her face.
" I understand very well who's after what, mister. My hair turned grey long back.
It's a different story that I really don't know where she went, but you would be the last person to be informed, had I known. "
Raqesh Chhetri moved out of the hostel for the final time, the notes he offered being slammed on his face by the hysterical warden.
Where could she go?
Where on earth? No, never to that Raichand hunk.
His house would be the last place to house a Muslim woman.
But what if he shifted her again?
However, would Jai Prakash Raichand do it.....that silently? Without even reaching to assault Raqesh Chhetri again?
A pool of questions jammed his brains. And a volcano of self hatred erupted in his brain.

Sonara sat like a ghost on the bed, before a sleeping Humaira.
Lunch lay on a trolley beside the bed. The well-dressed maid she had been seeing since that night, had just placed the trolley there, informing that no one was having lunch on the dining table.
" Maya ma'am left early in the morning and Jai sir left sometimes back. Kindly finish your lunch. We have tried to prepare some food of your choice. "
She left closing the door behind.
Jai's words still echoed through Sonara's brains.
The softness in his eyes screamed that he probably meant what he said.
But Sonara doubted, she had stayed not because of the words spoken, but because she felt weak now. Extremely weak to walk back into that terrible world..... alone.
Jai had almost guarded her back to this huge yet dark guest room, once she gave in again. He had been talking of how he would be back to her in the evening and know of what was bothering her. Sonara didn't even feel like uttering a word.
