Chapter 17 - ...next, seeking forgiveness...

In Six's office, Ash, Valkyrie and Caveira nervously wait for Six to return to her office to discuss any possible punishments. From the looks on their faces, each of them could tell from each other that they quickly regretted the whole situation, especially Caveira. She didnt mean to stab Y/N, her natural predator instincts had just suddenly kicked in... at least that's the only excuse she could think of. Ash and Valkyrie couldnt even look at their own sidearms after pointing them at their love interest. All in all, they know they've royally fucked up. Six enters the room a few minutes later, walks over to her desk and sits. She looks at the three operators before her, not eith a frustrated look, but more of a disappointed look.

Six: "No words can explain how disappointed I am. You've set a very bad example for your fellow operators as well as Team Rainbow."

Ash: "We're so sorry, Ma'am..."

Six: "Im not the one you need to apologize to."

Valkyrie: "We understand..."

Six: "I want an explanation as to how this started."

Ash: "We... asked Y/N about his trip in Poland, and we kinda... umm..."

Valkyrie: "It's kinda hard to explain..."

Six: "You're making it hard on yourself. Speak."

Ash: "Ok... ok..., we asked Y/N if he was in an intimate relationship with Elżbieta. And... when he refused to answer..."

Six: "You thought the best course of action was to attack him?"

Caveira: "Hearing it out loud now... it was probably not the best idea..."

Valkyrie: "I wish i hadnt gotten involved... i know for sure he's gonna hate us now..."

Ash: "Well, he wont hate us as much as Taina."

Caveira: "What? You both pulled your sidearms at him."

Ash: "Did you forget YOU were the one that stabbed him?"

Caveira: "I couldn't help it, ok? My instincts just kicked in and-

Six: "Enough."

The three operators quickly shut their mouths.

Six: "This kind of action will not be tolerated. I went to check on Y/N, and he has graciously decided to let this incident slide. You should be extremely thankful he is a forgiving person. But mark my words, that if this incident happens again regardless of which of you three started it, I will personally terminate each of your contracts with Team Rainbow. You WILL be exempt from the team and WILL be working desk jobs at your respective faction HQs for the rest of your days. Do i make myself clear?"

Ash, Valk, Cavi: "Y-Yes, Ma'am."

Six: "Good. I expect better behavior from the three of you, especially you, Taina. You are dismissed."

The three female operators stand up and leave her office, relieved that they just bearly managed to get off the hook, but remembering they only did so because of Y/N's generosity.

Ash: "Well... i... dont know about you girls... but i think im gonna go apologize to Y/N."

Caveira: "We may as well come with you."

Valkyrie: "They're probably at the mess hall right now."

Ash: "Alright. Let's go see."

The three take a couple of minutes to head to the cafeteria. They look through the windows of the double doors and sure enough, Valkyrie was right. Y/N was at a table with Ela, Dokkaebi, Mute, and Blackbeard, to which Valkyrie was not happy about.
