Chapter 20: Okay, The Tactic Is Working

Bandit's POV
Two weeks later

Tonight the boys are finally playing Gilman again. It's been forever. I was on the phone with Gerard waiting for Mike to pick me up.

"How's school over there?" I asked.

"Boring now," he said.

"How's my Moikey?" I laughed.

"He misses you. Which is why he's coming with me spring break," he told me.

"Yes! I need you guys! I need mother fucking break too," I yelled into the phone.

"You got lucky you didn't use that ticket last year, I was able to refund it and get his ticket," he explained.

"Well that's good," I nodded. I heard a car beep outside. "Mike's here, I gotta go to Gilman."

"Okay have fun. Give me updates on your relationship. Love you!" He said.

"Love you too!" I returned.

"Byeeee," we said in unison then I hung up the phone. I pulled my shoes on and ran out the door. I hopped in the truck happy to be out of my house.

"Hello," He said.

"Hello," I replied and he drove away. "Am I finally gonna hear the new songs?"

"Oh yeah. You coming to practice on Sunday?" He asked.

"Well duh, at Tré's I'm assuming," I answered.

"Yeah," he nodded. "Billie's song writing is getting better."

"It was great in the first place," I said.

"Just you wait," he smiled.

Mike was right. They only played a few new songs. They probably have more unfinished. The new songs are called Don't Leave Me, Road To Acceptance, and I Was There then they did a cover of Knowledge by Operation Ivy. I loved all of the new songs and their cover was good but nothing can beat Operation Ivy. Most of their normal set was in the mix though.

I squeezed through the crowd and made my way over to the guys. I saw a Tré and went over to him. "My lady!" He swung his arm around me.

"You were great Chipmunk," I told him as I was laughing.

"Oh I know! I missed being up there," we started walking towards Mike and Billie. "Ya seen Lisea?"

"I did earlier. Her and Adrienne stayed back but I made my way to the front of the crowd," I answered.

"Well I'm gonna go find her, have fun with your man," he pushed me into Mike.

"Why hello," he said.

"Hi," I was laughing at Tré and hugged him. "You were amazing as always."

"Thanks," he said and giving Tré the middle finger. He put his bass away then turned around and picked me up. Of course he picked me up so my legs were wrapped around his waist and I was worried I was going to fall! I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and he supported my legs.

"Oh my god," I laughed.

"What?" He laughed with me.

"You drop me, you're fucking dead," I said.
