Number one would totally be cheating. They don't have time for someone who can't be faithful. Then if you disrespect and / or abusive them or their family. Mentally or physically it doesn't matter. Especially if they're fighting their inner demons (like depression or other mental illnesses). Also, you need to be trustworthy. They can't have someone who'd just go and tell everyone they're dating a mutant turtle or where their lair is located. You need to be able to keep secrets. Not from them but from everyone who might harm them and their family.
