Steven Universe : Garnet x Male or Female Gem/Vampire Hybrid Reader Love Story

Ch. 4

             "Its so nice to finally meet y'all." They all give me a confused look, well everyone except for Garnet, her face is emotionless. "What do you mean y/n?" Steven asks for him and the others. I chuckle a little, "I'm a fan of y'alls;" Amethyst chuckles, "Well that's a first." Pearl gives her an annoyed stare, which causes me to chuckle some more, "and I would like y'alls help please." I pull down my shirt  and reveal my white g/s.
          All four of them are surprised in their own ways. Steven and Amethyst rush over to me and start to admire my gem. Again, Steven has stars in his eyes. How does he do that? "Wow! Y/n! You have a gem!" They both say in unison, then they both start trying to feel it, but they can't because they're both short. So, I crouch down and satisfy their curiosity and wants. "Ooh." They both say with stars in both of their eyes now.
            "Steven! Amethyst! Get away from him/her! He/she might be working for Homeworld!" With that said Pearl goes on the defensive. She grabs the two of them and summons her weapon. A spear. She points her weapon at my gem and I raise my hand in surrender.
             I stand up straight and she motions me to the door with her spear. When we reach the door, I stop and speak up, " I understand why you're doing this and I get it. But if it makes you feel better, I've never been to Homeworld ." "And why should we believe you? You can be lying and I'm not going to risk my- I mean our lives with you." Pearl says with a scared, but concerned tone.
              "And another thi-." "That's enough Pearl." Garnet speaks up and approaches me, standing between Pearl's spear and I. We're looking at each other face to face, or more like I'm facing myself face to face because all I can see is my bright e/c eyes in her shiny visors. Man, I wish could see what's underneath her visors. I wish I could see the rest of her beautiful face. She's so mysterious, yet so beautiful.
          Heat rushes into my cheeks just thinking about what her beautiful eyes could look like and I know I'm blushing. She places a hand on my shoulder, "We can trust him/her." "But Garnet!" She raises her free hand to silence Pearl. Pearl probably knows that she can't argue with her. "Pearl, we are The Crystal Gems. We always help anyone or anything who needs it, whether they ask or not."
             Pearl makes her spear vanish and hangs her head in defeat and walks off. I mouth a 'Thank you' to Garnet and she gives me a small smile and nod.
             "So y/n, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself." Steven says patting the space on the couch next to him, welcoming me and Garnet to sit. Amethyst is shape shifted into a cat and laying on Steven's lap as Pearl sits on the other side of him. "Well, where do I begin? Umm... Let's see... Umm... I'm an orphan, but I'm 18." "Wait, what's an orphan?" Amethyst asks while scratching her ear, so I explain. "Well, an orphan is a child with no parents. The parents of the child is either dead, or just decided that they wanted nothing to do in the child's life, so they gave them up." "Oh." Silence fills the room, until Pearl speaks up, "I'm sorry y/n, if I knew, I wouldn't of tried to kick you out." "Its fine Pearl, I accept your apology, you didn't know."
           The clock dings seven and I look out the window to see the Sun coming up. " Crap!" I jump up quickly, startling the others. "Y/n! What's wrong?!" They all say and jump up in unison. "Its morning!" "Yes. Yes it is." Pearl says. "I have to go!" Steven places his hand on my arm, "Where are you going to go?" "I-I don't know!" I say running my fingers through my hair as I pace the floor. "But it has to be dark!" I can feel all eyes on me and I begin to worry some more. Garnet can see that I'm worrying myself to death. I pivet back around and I come face to face with Garnet. "You're staying with us."
            "Really!?" The others say in surprise. "Yes. But if you need somewhere dark, then you have to sleep in the bathroom." "I'll get the pillows and blankets!" Steven says as he rushes to a hidden closet under the stairs, then he grabs them and bolts to the bathroom. "Sleepover!" We all hear the young boy says excitingly as he makes the bathroom sleepable.
              "Are you sure Garnet?" She smirks, wraps one arm around my shoulder and leads me to the bathroom. "We're sure." Steven just got done making a make shift bed in the tub. "Finished! I hope you like it y/n!" I ruffle his hair after I get get done admiring his creativity, "I love it Steven, thank you." He gives me a quick hug, "No prob Bob!" Then he darts back to the living room. "Thank you again Garnet for... Everything. But if I become a burden, you can just - Woah!" She suddenly picks me up bridal style and places me in the tub. I instantly sink down into the comfortness of Steven's masterpiece, then Garnet places a blanket over me. "Trust me, you won't be a burden at all. Now get some rest, you've had a long night." I won't argue with that. "Have a good rest y/n." "You too Garnet." And with that, she turns out the light and exits the room, closing the door behind her. Wow. They're all so nice and caring, I just hope that they won't run me off if they find out what I am.
             I continue to stare at the ceiling then I start to close my eyes. It ain't long until sleep drags me under and I drift off.
