Steven Universe : Garnet x Male or Female Gem/Vampire Hybrid Reader Love Story

Ch.12

                 I sit there with my jaw dropped as Ruby and Sapphire fuses back together to make Garnet. "So, what do you say y/n?" Garnet asks and the whole room stays quiet for my response, but I don't give her one. I simply just get up, excuse myself, and walk out the door. The rain is gone for now, but the dark clouds remain.
                   ~Garnet's POV~
         "AHHHH!!!! Sapphire, what have we done! Where is he/she going?! He/she must think we're nuts!" "Calm down Ruby, he/she is just getting some air. I don't think that-" We hear y/n suddenly scream and all of us runs outside, but y/n is nowhere in sight.
           "Yo, where did y/n go?" Amethyst asks anyone. All we see is sand stirring around in a little cloud on the beach. "Um, you guys, I think I know where he/she went." Steven points up towards the sky and all of our eyes follows suit. A missing y/n, a big hole in the clouds and the stirred sand connects together. He/she must've left us.
            "Ahh! I knew it! I knew that y/n must've thought we were crazy! And now he/she ain't coming back!" "Ruby, he/she will be back. We both saw the future and we know he/she'll be back, we just have to wait."  I can feel Ruby calm down, which is good because I don't want to unfuse again today unless I have to.
             Suddenly, we all see something coming back down through the same hole that y/n went up in. A flaming ball of fire is coming straight at us. "Everybody move!" I yell, commanding the others.
              BOOM! The flaming ball of fire collides with the sand, making a tower of glass form because of it. Sand blows in gusts of wind all around us and up in our faces. Everybody, including me starts to cough, but when the sand dies down, I see y/n standing there with a huge smile on his/her face.
           "Sorry, I had to let that out. Ahem. Of course, Garnet I would love to be your boyfriend/girlfriend." I feel different emotions of excitement and relief flood my body, and I can't stop myself from running up to y/n and kissing him/her. Shock lights up his/her e/c eyes, but he/she just melts into the kiss. "Garnet! There are children present!" Pearl yells at me while Amethyst on the other hand encourages us. "Yeah! Get it G! Whoop! Whoop!"
              Y/n's small laugh against my lips makes me break the kiss, but his/her smile at the end of it makes up for its disappearance. "We should go back in, from the looks of things up there, it looks like its going to rain some more." We all agree and go back inside.
                      ~Y/n's POV~
          We all head back into the temple and now its my turn to explain to Garnet and the others to what I am. Wish me luck. "Okay everyone, since I now know who everyone is in this town, I guess its my turn to come clean." I'm so nervous and Garnet knows I am too by my body language. She grabs my hand while everyone else sits back on the couch.
            "Okay, what I'm about to tell y'all is very important and absolutely one hundred percent true, so please promise me y'all won't judge me." Murmurs of promises from the group flutter around the room and I inhale and exhale deeply. Here we go. "I'm half gem." Steven gasps and jumps up from his seat, "No way y/n! I am too!" He lifts up his shirt and shows me his rose quartz gem on his stomach where his belly button should be. "My mom was Rose Quartz, the leader of The Rebellion and my dad is human."
           I smile at him, "I assumed she was, my father told me about her and The Crystal Gems, along with the war. My mom fought alongside you all actually, but she got captured by the Homeworld gems,but eventually escaped. That's one of the reasons why I wanted to meet y'all... I want to become a Crystal Gem just like she was before she died. But I don't know if y'all will accept me." "Why wouldn't we accept you y/n? You're nice,brave,strong, and adventurous. Plus, you're basically going to be one anyways because of your's and Garnet's future with each other." Pearl is making my ego huge.
            "Well, I thought y'all wouldn't accept me because...um... Because I'm half vampire..."
