Weeks of brutal training and of game planning has worn me out. I've been practicing nonstop with the gems. With Pearl, I practiced precision in trying to get to my father's weak spots on his body (which is his heart) just in case we end up fighting, which we'll probably do. Amethyst and I practiced cardio together, which in her mind means throwing cars and any other heavy objects at me and for me to hopefully dodge it. She almost got me with her throwing six boats at me as a giant squid. Thankfully I dodged them all. Steven, Connie, and I practiced hand eye coordination when I had to fight against Stevonnie while reading a Dogcopter comic to them. And Garnet and I, well, we practiced in multitasking. From learning different battle strategies to planning our wedding. So far, we only came up with a date, but that's it. "Come on y/n, please, pretty please, let me plan your wedding!" Steven begs as he pushes around his vegetables, refusing to eat them. "Steven, it ain't up to me, its up to these beautiful ladies standing next to me if you can or not." I thumb my hand over to Garnet while I lean on the counter in front of him. "Please Garnet?" He gives her those signature puppy dog eyes. "You're not doing anything until those vegetables are gone." "Oh come on! Y/n help me out here!" I raise my hands in defeat, "The queens have spoken. I'm not in this." Garnet squeezes my butt, making me jump a little, alongside giving me a slight blush. "Ugh... Fine." Steven takes a deep breath and quickly devours his vegetables. He shivers when he swallows the last one, "Now can I?" Garnet and I look at each other and we give each other a little smiling nod, then we look back at Steven. "Okay, you can plan our wedding." Garnet says and Steven catapults himself over into her arms. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He has stars in his eyes as he hugs both of us. "You won't regret it! I promise!" I give him a handshake and Garnet gives him a kiss then he runs off. "What have we done?" I ask, wrapping an arm around her waist. "We gave a fourteen year old the permission to plan the most special day of our lives. But we also made him very happy." I smile at the thought and try to kiss her head, but she quickly turns it so I can kiss her lips. I smile against her lips, "I love you." "I love you too." We kiss again, until a cough breaks us up. Steven is standing there, rubbing his neck with his eyes away from us. We give each other some distance, "Okay Steven, you can look now." "Sorry for the interruption, but I was thinking I could take one of you to pick out your outfits for the big day." Garnet and I look at each other for a moment, but shrug. "Sure Steven, but who do you want-!" Amethyst sneak attacks me from out of nowhere. "Woah!" I catch her mid flight. "Y/n, your coming with Steven, Connie and I, G your going with Greg and Pearl." Well that answers my question. "Alright." I put Amethyst down and I kiss Garnet goodbye. "I'll see you later, but no future vision of me, that would be bad luck and totally not fair." She giggles, "Okay. I love you." I kiss her again, "I love you too." "Alright lovebirds break it up! We all have places to be!" Amethyst is pushing me by my waist away from Garnet and out the door. We make it down the steps to where Connie is waiting on Lion. "Hey guys. You ready to go?" We all hop on Lion, "Yep. Let's go get this over with." "Oh come on y/n, cheer up! You're getting ready for your big day with Garnet." Steven says. "Yeah, then after the 'I do's' the real fun begins that night." Amethyst mumbles out in a whisper. "What was that?" We both shout nothing to the nosey kids as Lion makes a portal and we go in it. ~Time Skip~ "Steven, I'm done! You are wearing me out!" "Oh come on y/n! Last one I promise!" Yeah okay, you said that about twenty suits ago. Ugh... Why does picking out a suit have to be do complicated? "Yeah y/n, this is the last suit we promise." Steven and Connie gives me two huge smiles and I roll my eyes, "Why wasn't the other suits not good enough?" "Because they wasn't giving us the right vibe dude." Amethyst vouches for the others and they agree. "Plus this is your's and Garnet's big day, so do it for her." He pushes me into the changing room and closes the door. He's right, I should do this for her. I don't want to ruin her special day by looking like crap. Sigh. I put on my suit and tie and I slip on my black dress shoes.

Then I look in the mirror, "Huh, I really like this one." Hopefully they will too. It fits to a tee. I walk out of the dressing room and all of their jaws drop. "Y/n!" They all scream like they're fangirling. "What?" I turn around in a circle, "You don't like it?" They all come closer to me, "Are you kidding?! We love it!" They all scream, making me go temporarily deaf in one ear. "Good! Because I love it too!" They all cover their ears. Haha, revenge is sweet. "Okay! Let's go pay for it and get out of here!" Sounds good to me.
