Steven Universe : Garnet x Male or Female Gem/Vampire Hybrid Reader Love Story

Ch.53

     ~Warning, may be a spoiler.~    
              After talking a while to Lapis about Garnet and the whole Rose problem and after her telling me about her problems, everything from the mirror up to now, we feel somewhat better. My bottle of Vodka didn't last long and I'm the one who drunk it all. The liquid heated up my body and it felt like I was making love with Garnet, but then it went away and now I feel cold as the new problems with our relationship hits me again.
          I must've zoned out because Lapis begins waving her hand in front of my face, "Hello? Is my friend y/n in there? I'd like to talk to him/her please." "I'm here...unfortunately." I mumbled out the last part and thank goodness she didn't seem to hear it. "Come on, I want to show you something." She takes my hand and we go upstairs to a big room with a huge chair. This is where the diamonds sat as they monitored everything. I wonder why we're up here?
         My question is answered when she presses a button and a holographic sphere of Earth pops up. "What is this Lapis?" She sighs, "Its some sort of hologram of the Earth that I assumed Pink Diamond or should I say Rose, used to watch her colony." She spins the Earth and clicks on a location. The whole room then turns into Beach City and I see Ruby as a cowboy? "What the? Ruby what are you doing?" I walk up to her chuckling, but she walks through me.
         "Oh." I sigh, "She can't see or hear me." "Yeah, I know it sucks, but at least you can see and hear her." Lapis says putting a hand on my shoulder. I look back to her over my shoulder, "So, have you been watching us this whole time?" She blushes in embarrassment, "Yeah, but only because I miss y'all." "Then, why didn't you come back? We would of welcomed you back with open arms because we miss you too." Her blush intensifies, "I was, that's why I turned around from the Milky Way, but then I thought about the diamonds again, so I just settled here."
          I can tell she feels ashamed, so I hug her and she waits a moment until she hugs me back. "Its okay Lapis, I understand. You're lost and you feel scared, that's how I felt when I left my father, but it all changed when I met Garnet, and the other Crystal Gems. It changed when I met you, Peridot, Connie, Greg and everybody else. I ran from town to town, city to city, coast to coast, trying to run from my problems, until I decided to face them and my family, my friends, and you helped me defeat the main problem and I thank you. If you come back home and the diamonds come, I will stand by your side, along with everyone else's and we will defeat your problem, our problem. Together."
         Her body tenses up and I hear her sniffle, "Really?" I tighten our embrace, "I promise. I would die for all of y'all, I've did it before, and I'll do it again." She laughs as we break apart and wipes her tear. "Has Steven rubbed off his motivation speeches on you? Or are you just a good persuader?" I chuckle, "Both I guess. So, is that a yes?" She nods, "Yes, I'll come back, but not right now. I have to prepare myself." "Sounds good to me." We give each other a quick hug then we turn back to the hologram to see Ruby proposing to Sapphire?!
          "Well, would you look at that. My girls are getting back together, and even better, they're getting married!" I can't control myself, I grab Lapis and I pick her up and spin her around with joy. "Woo hoo!" I stop and I put her down, "So I guess, you need to go back to Earth and go back to your wives, huh?" "I guess so." Then as if on cue my phone rings. Its Steven.

Y/n: "Hello?"

Steven: "Y/N!" OH MY GOSH! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF YOU ALL THIS TIME! WHERE ARE YOU?! ARE YOU HURT?!"

Y/n: "Wow Steven chill, I'm fine. I'm with an old friend and no I'm not hurt."

Steven: "Well, when are you going to come home?! Ruby and Sapphire are back together and-"
        
          I cut him off.

Y/n: "And they're getting married, I know, and I'm so happy."

Steven: "Wait, how do you know?!"

             I smirk.

Y/n: "I have my ways... But I'll be home ASAP, but don't tell Ruby, nor Sapphire that I'm coming. By the way, how are they feeling? You know... About me?..."

Steven: "They're so sad and depressed that you left. Do you want to talk to them? They would be happy to hear your voice."

Y/n: "No, I'm going to surprise them, but tell them that I'm fine and they're going to be seeing me real soon."

Steven: "Okay, well we love you and can't wait to see you!"

Y/n: "I love y'all too, and I can't wait to see y'all too. Bye."

Steven: "Bye."

       After I hang up, I decide to go to sleep and rest up to go back to Earth in a few days. I don't think Ruby and Sapphire will appreciate if I show up on their wedding day drunk. My thumb spins my silver wedding band just thinking about my wives getting married. My smile lights up my whole face. It looks like things are going back to how they were, but better this time.
