        A few hours has passed since I got that letter in the mail and I haven't thought of a way to tell the others, especially Garnet. The date I'm supposed to leave is literally the day after Thanksgiving and who knows when I'll be back. I let out a long sigh as I fall back onto my bed and cover my eyes with my arm, "I guess having a Christmas wedding is out." Sigh.
        I hear the door to my room open, but I don't even bother seeing who it is. "Hey y/n." Steven says as he flops down on my bed. "Hey Steven." "What's wrong?" I let out a long sigh, "Its nothing." I hear let out a hum, "It doesn't sound like nothing... Do you want to talk about it?" I shake my head, "You'll find out sooner or later."
I feel him crawl over to me and hug my ribs. "Well, its later, so, do you wanna talk about it now?" A little smile crawls across my face, "You're a smarty pants aren't you?" "Well I hope my pants aren't dumb." I chuckle a little and sit up. I run my fingers through my hair and smile down at the floor. "Come on y/n, spill the beans." He says as he crouches in front of me and grabs my hands. I give them a little squeeze and I feel tears about pricking my eyes. "I-I have to leave."
       He gives me a confused look, "What do you mean, you have to leave?" I raise my face to meet his and let a little smile and tear roll, "I-I have to go to war." His eyes widens and he shoots up, "What?!" I reach into my pocket and hand him the wrinkled letter. He grabs it from my hand, smooths it out, and reads it. I zone out after he says "Dear Mr./Ms. L/n."
       After a few more seconds of him reading, he crumples the paper up and throws it on the floor. "Y/n, you can't leave! I won't allow it!" He tackles me back on the bed in a hug and let's a few tears come out. "Steven? Y/n? Are y'all ready for the picnic?" Connie asks while she knocks on the door. "Picnic? What picnic?" I ask and Steven raises his teary face up from my chest. "I threw a picnic for us to celebrate our victory against your father and for you feeling better." I ruffle his hair and give him a little smile, "We can still do that." "But, what about-" I cut him off, "I'll tell the others later, now let's go have some fun." I pick him up and wipe his tears as we head towards the door. "Now cheer up and let's go eat." He hugs me again and I return it and sit him down.
        I open the door and Connie greets with a smile, "Hey, are you two ready to go?" I'm about to speak until Steven interrupts me, "Y/n isn't ready to go!" She gives us a confused look and I look back at Steven then to Connie, "Haha. What Steven means is that I want to make sure we have everything we need before we head out. Isn't that right Steven?" I give him a little smile and his shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Um..." He hesitates for a second and my eyes beg him not to tell. "Um, yeah. Y/n just wants to do a double check." Thank God.
         "Well dont worry y/n, Pearl and I has already sat everything up outside. The only thing that's missing is us in our swimsuits." Swimsuits? "Are we having the picnic on the beach?" I ask and her face lights up, "Yeah it was my idea for the location. I thought we could eat, swim and play volleyball." "Sounds fun to me. I'll go change." I turn back to my room and close the door to change.
      When I get in my room, I instantly spot the wrinkled up note in the floor. Thank God I found it and not Garnet. I bend down to pick it up, but then I hear my door open. "This is a nice view." I hear Garnet say and whistle. I look over my shoulder and smirk at her while I put the note in my gem, then I straighten up and face her. I wrap my hands around her waist and pull her into a kiss, "That might've been a nice view, but I have the most perfect view right here." She snickers and hits my chest playfully, "You're crazy." "But you love me." She kisses me again. "Always." I kiss her again and pull away.
       I begin to take off my shirt and I hear a low groan come from her. "Wanna help put my swimsuit on?" I smirk as I throw my shirt on the bed and start unbuttoning my pants. I feel her hands twirl me back around to face her and she pushes me down on the bed. "I take that as a yes." She crawls on me and kisses me while she begins to pull my pants off. Her lips leave a trail of kisses down my body as she makes my pants fall off the bed and removes my underwear (and bra, if you're a female).
           "Hmm... I really want to go out to that picnic with you, but I don't want you to get ready." I cover my eyes with my arm and smile, "Life isn't fair babe." I uncover my eyes and sit up and pull her on my lap. I start kissing her and my hands start wondering down her ribs. A shiver goes throughout her body and I just bring her into a hug. I don't want to leave her, but America needs me, but I need her.
        "Are you okay love?" I take in a deep breath, inhaling her strawberry scent and releasing it, "Yeah, I'm fine." I kiss her neck then her lips. "I think we should get ready or Steven might send a search party after us." We both chuckle and she kisses me, "Yeah you're right, he probably would." "Oh I know he would." She gets off me and I stand up and pull my f/c swimsuit from my gem. She automatically snatches it from my hand and puts it on me before I can even blink.
         "There. We're ready." She bites her bottom lip as she admires my body. I just look at the ceiling with a blush as I rub my arm, then I look back at her, she still has her battle suit on. "What about you? Aren't you gonna change?" She smirks, then she unfuses. Ruby is wearing a burgundy one piece swimsuit and Sapphire is wearing a white bikini with her hair back in a ponytail, but her bangs is still covering her eye.
        I kneel down to their height and kiss them both, "We'll don't y'all look like the most beautiful swimsuit models on Earth." They both blush and giggle, "Stop it you." Sapphire gently hits me. So that's where Garnet gets it from. "Yeah babe, you're killing us with compliments." I laugh, "Well that's part of the fiancé description, isn't it? Make their partners feel like they're the only one's in the world?" They blush and I swoop them both up in my arms, "Now come on my queens, we must not make the others wait." I attempt to say in a really fancy English accent to make them laugh, which succeeds. "Onward our king/queen!" Ruby says as she climbs up on my shoulder and points towards the door. "So romantic." Sapphire says as I carry her bridal style. I roll my eyes and smile and we head out the door.
