Ch.15

       We continue to watch the stars as I still try to find the courage to ask her to fuse with me. Shortly after I found out that Garnet and I were meant to be, I've been procrastinating to ask.
       "Why are you being so quiet love? Is something bothering you? You haven't spoke in a while." She probably knows what's wrong, but she probably respects my privacy and wants me to tell her when I feel is the right time.
       "Oh, I was just thinking about you and me. About us." "What about us?" She continues to stare at the light show above us. Come on l/n! Swallow your pride and ask her already! I sit up and I look at her. Just ask her . Do it like its ripping off a band aid. Okay here goes nothing... "Garnet will you fuse with me?"
         She automatically sits up as I automatically regret asking her. She's going to say no I just know it. Come on y/n, she might say yes. Yeah but there's a chance that she'll say no. My consciousness is arguing back and forth like a Democrat and a Republican. "Of course I will y/n. Is that what you was so nervous about?" I nod my head and she just hugs me, "Y/n, you shouldn't be nervous about asking me anything, unless you know I'll say no." That makes me feel better. "So when do you want to do it?" I break the hug, "How about right now? You know before the Sun comes up." "That sounds perfect."
             We get off the blanket, and we get into a dance position. Steven tried his best to explain to me how fusion works, but he didn't know exactly how to tell me how the process worked, he just told me that it was a dance and we end up fusing whenever we start to glow. "Ready love?" I gulp "Yes, but I'm nervous, its my first time." She smirks as I put both hands on her waist and her's end up around my neck. "Don't worry love, you'll be just fine. I believe in you." I give her a quick kiss and we begin.
        We start out rocking back and forth in a slow dance, but we end up doing a classic, but passionate ballroom dance.

(The fusion dance is similar from the beginning to about 1:20 in.)

         After, I dip her and bring her back up, we kiss, and we start to fuse. The last thing I see before our bodies intertwine into one is white light and before I know it... we're one.
