Ch.72

              Hours pass in which feels like minutes. Day has became night on this miserable planet... My planet apparently. White, nor her Pearl has let me out of this dredged room. I can't sense a sign of Steven or the others anywhere. I feel so useless, so angry, so confused, yet so, so, sad all at the same time, and me sitting in this corner of this dark room isn't helping me either. "How could mom have been White Diamond?" My voice comes out a little scratchy because I haven't spoke since White's and I's encounter. My stomach growls letting me know that its hungry, but I just ignore it because I'm just so emotional right now. Garnet would kill me if she found out that I was treating my body like this, but she isn't here and in a way, I'm grateful. She doesn't need to see me in this state. I'm an emotional mess and I don't know where my mind is right now. "Mom, why didn't you tell me?" My arms squeeze around my knees as I bring them to my chest in this prison of a room, "Why didn't father tell me? Did he even know?" My eyes start to flutter, but I try to fight the urge to close them. I haven't slept good since we came here and my body feels like its just gonna cave in. To give up. But I'm doing my best on not letting that happen. I can't drop my guard even for a second no more it seems because everytime I do, it seems like something bad happens, but not no more. Not until this whole thing with the Diamonds is over. My eyelids are about fall close for the final time it feels like, until I hear a giant crash. My eyes automatically pop open and I use some of my remaining of my strength to go the glass door, separating me from the outside world from the balcony. Pushing on the doubled doors, my face is greeted with a huge gush of wind, but I don't have time to acknowledge it because I see something that makes my eyes widen in the distant. Yellow and Blue are falling out of a building?! My eyes blink a few times to make sure that I'm seeing what I'm seeing because if my vision is correct I see Steven and Connie falling in a bubble alongside them! Oh Hell no! I have to get to them before I lose them again. Looking down from the white balcony, I see its at least a good two hundred feet drop, but I don't hesitate to jump right off of it.

                     As I fall, the ground is coming closer to me at record speed. Crap! I didn't think this all the way through. With me being weak and all, I didn't think about how I would land. I cover myself and close my eyes preparing for a hard impact, but it never comes. Wait, what? I open my eyes to see that I'm in yet another white bubble. I stomp my foot on the ground and pout like a five year old, "Oh come on!" Punching the bubble, I scream for it to drop, and for once in my life, it did. I shyly laugh to myself, "Ha! it actually listened for once!" Looking around, I try to see who caused the bubble to appear, but to my surprise, I'm the only one here. "Did I create that?" I ask as I look at my hands. It wouldn't surprise me if I did. Nothing really surprises me anymore. But before I can question it again, a yell breaks the silence of the air. I automatically pop my head up to the direction it came from. "Steven." Without a second to hesitate or procrastinate, I use my superspeed to dash to where all the fun is at. I see Steven, Connie and the gems, well their gemstones on the ground as the kids are talking to a tearful Yellow on her knees and Blue trying to comfort her. "Steven! Connie!" The two looks at me and their eyes light up, "Y/n!" I run over to them and stand around them protectively with my fangs out. My eyes go back and forth from Yellow to Blue, "Did they hurt you two?! Because if they did, I swear I'll poof them again!" "You are the one that poofed me?!" Blue asks from the ground. "You poofed them?!" Steven and Connie ask me in unison, which causes me to turn around. Their look of disbelief along with a bit of sadness in their eyes makes me fall to my knees. Pink tears stream from my face, but I answer them truthfully, "I did, but I'm not sorry. They locked Stevonnie in a dark room," I then look over at my wives's and Pearl's and Amethyst's gems, "they poofed my family. My wives!" I meet the duo's eyes, "I had to get some kind of retribution for you two. For them!" I retract my fangs, "But Karma came and got me back for it." "What do you mean by that, Y/n?" Steven asks.  My tear filled eyes looks up to meet his as I try to form words to explain. "Steven... I'm White Diamond." I clutch my eyes close as I hear everyone gasp. "Y/n, wh-what do you mean? What do you mean that you're White Diamond?" Looking around, I see that everyone is just as confused as Steven and is waiting for my answer as well. "I-I don't know how to explain it... but I can show you." I reach out both of my hands to Steven and Connie to try to show them like White did me. They don't even hesitate to take my hands and as soon as they do, my gem glows and their eyes turn white.

                    Tears run down my face as they squeeze my hands hard. I know that I'm not hurting them, its just all the knowledge they're taking in at one time. After a few minutes of them seeing who I am, I drop their hands and they go back to normal, but with tears in their eyes. "Y/n..." Steven says, but I just ignore him. Instead, I rise from my knees and then turn to face Blue and Yellow, "I'm so, so, sorry that I poofed you two. I was just upset and angry at what you have done to me and my family." I walk over to them, which causes them to flinch. Feeling sad about my actions, I fall to my knees in front of them. "What are you doing?" Yellow asks as I look at them both in the eyes. I rip my shirt to reveal my gem in front of them. Their eyes go wide as they become surprised from my actions, but I just look up to them with all seriousness in my face, "I have discovered the truth about who I am. I have seen the actions and the crimes I have done through my whole life and my mother's. I am my mother's son/daughter. She is the daughter of White Diamond. She was White Diamond. I am White Diamond!" Tears have began to leak from my eyes again as I continue to testify. "I have seen all the wrong that White Diamond has caused. That my mother has caused. That I have caused! And a good portion has you two involved in it. White Diamond is wrong and I was wrong. We are both wrong for what we have done to you two, to Pink, and to this planet, and for that, we deserve to be punished." "Y/n!" I hear the two kids behind me yell in unison, but I just ignore them. My focus are on the two space leaders that White and myself have done wrong. "So, I ask to you two, from one Diamond to the others, to punish me... To shatter me."
