Steven Universe : Garnet x Male or Female Gem/Vampire Hybrid Reader Love Story

Ch.16

                     ~Fusion's POV~
  (Y/n is in bold and Garnet is in italics.) Y/f/n is your fusion's name.

         "We did it! Woo hoo!" I make us jump up and fist pump the sky. "We most certainly did. How does it feel y/n?" I feel like I'm on top of the world if I'm being honest with myself. "It feels great! I feel like love itself. I can't quite describe it, but I feel like this is what I've always wanted, always needed. The empty space inside my heart finally feels full. I finally feel whole." Y/n makes his/her half of me hug me and I can feel Garnet's half tightening it. "Do you want to go show the others?" Like that's even a question, "Yes! Let's go!"
          We pick up the blanket and we jump off the cliff. I don't know what we look like, but I know that our hair is at least shoulder length by the way its flowing in the wind.
           We land gracefully in the sand and we both can't resist but run straight into the temple. All of the gems are in the living room playing some sort of board game when we enter, but that doesn't last long when they see us. "Hey guys! Its us, y/n and Garnet!" Pearl's jaw drops and Steven and Amethyst rushes over to us with starry eyes.  We extend out our hand to greet them. (Your fusion name is either the beginning of your name and the last of Garnet's name or vise versa.) "Y/f/n, its nice to meet ya!"
        "Yay y/n! You finally asked her and you two are like Stevonnie now!" Steven says cheerfully, "But you have four arms and shoulder length y/h/c ombre hair and visors." Pearl then walks over to us and starts inspecting us and interviewing us with questions. "Garnet, y/n, how - how is this possible? I mean, I know that y/n has a gem, but he/she's half vampire." "Yeah P, but they look good."
         I can't help but smirk, " Thanks Ame, but its because y/n and Garnet's love for one  another made it happened and nothing can break me apart." "Y/f/n bend down here." I obey Steven's request and do what he says. He places his hand on my cheeks,"Now y/n, listen to me. Once I was in your shoes, and I know exactly how you're feeling, you feel happy and confused because you are sharing one being with someone else. But you are not two people and you are not one person. You are an experience. Make sure you are a good experience. Now go have fun!"
        I hug Steven and I run out the door. We can only stay fused for just a little while longer because the Sun, but I'm going to go have fun.
                      ~Time skip~
       After all the fun things y/n and Garnet did on the boardwalk, they decide to sit out on the sand to end their night as perfectly as they can. I watch the tides roll in back and forth onto my feet and let the sand come up between my toes. "Garnet, thank you for fusing with me and for one of the most amazing nights I've had in forever. I don't want it to end, but unfortunately it must because the Sun is about to come up." "You're welcome love. This is one of the best nights we've had in a while too and we're blessed to have shared it with you."
         I really wish that we can watch the Sun come up as one, but I don't want to risk hurting Garnet. Sigh. "Are you ready to unfuse love?" "No, not yet. Do you want to see the Sun come up?" My eyes go wide and I bet y/f/n eyes is too. "Garnet, I'd love to, I've never seen a sunrise, but I don't want to hurt you or y/f/n." Garnet's half of me makes me stand up and stretch, "Y/n, trust me, trust us, you won't."
        I let out an uneasy breath, "Okay." I watch the horizon and I see the Sun starting to peek out. Okay y/n breathe, this is really happening. You're about to see the Sun, so don't freak out because if you do, you'll unfuse and die. Wow, thanks self conscious. Okay here we go, here it is!
          I see the Sun make its entrance onto the beach and I instinctively cover y/f/n. "Ahh!"  I shriek expecting the worse, but nothing happens. Instead, I feel the warmth of the light on me and I feel no pain. I drop my arms and I let my body bask in the Sun. "Garnet! I'm not dead! Sort of speak. Woo hoo!" I begin cheering and dancing and doing cartwheels in the sand. "Yes!"
            A tear rolls down my cheek and I wipe it off. Its not a bloody tear like y/n produces, but its not clear like Garnet's either. Its pink.
           "Thank you so much Garnet. Its beautiful. You're beautiful. I - I love you!" I continue to look into the beautiful sunrise and I wrap my arms around me, "You're welcome and I love you too y/n."
