Made of Love (Valentine's Day Special)

*Y/n's POV*

Batter and flour covers my face and body from head to toe it seems, but being messy is acceptional today. Today is a very special for mostly everyone. Flowers, chocolates, but mostly love fills the air today all around the world. Today is none other than Valentine's Day. I woke up bright and early today to fix breakfast for everyone because even though I'm not in a romantic relationship with anyone besides my beautiful wives, Garnet, Ruby, and Sapphire, that doesn't have to stop me from making heart shaped pancakes for everyone. I love all my family and I want to treat them all equally, but I won't be giving them a special day one on one with me today like I will be giving Garnet, Ruby, and Sapphire. Lifting up the skillet, I prepare to flip the newly poured heart in the air to make it land on its gooey side, but as soon as I do, a familiar voice startles me. "Hey Y/n. Watcha doin?" "Steven!" I whisper yell as I lose concentration and the heart plumits to the floor. "Dang it." I look back to the brown headed cinnamon roll, who just woke up from his sleep. Our eyes look down at the fallen pancake, "Steven, you broke my heart." His eyes soon meets mine when we look back up at each other and he frowns, "I'm sorry Y/n, I'll clean it up." I shake my head with a small smile, "Nah, I got it, but can you do me one favor?" "Sure Y/n, what is it?" My smile grows, "Go get cleaned up and go get everyone up, including Peri and Lapis. I have a surprise for everyone." His eyes light up, "A surprise? What is it?" "If I told you," I dab a little bit of excess batter on his nose, "it wouldn't be much of a surprise, now would it?" He sticks out his tongue, "Can't blame a gem for trying, huh?" I smirk, "Nope, now get going kiddo. They'll be here any second." His brown brow arches, "They? They who?" My hand guides him away from the kitchen, "All will be revealed in time, child." He doesn't question me any further and he heads straight for the bathroom after getting his clothes. I smirk, but then my eyes land on my fallen commrade. I frown, "Such a shame." Using my superspeed, I quickly clean it up and continue to make breakfast.

After Steven gets done in the bathroom doing whatever, he does as he's told and warps to get Peri and Lapis. I just get done placing another pancake on the huge stack of previous made ones, when I feel a pair of arms hug my waist and a cheek land on my right shoulder. Smiling to myself, I lean back into the embrace. "Good morning beautifuls, you're up early." "Mmm, but you've been up before the chicken." I can't help but laugh some as I turn around in my loving wives's arms. "Happy Valentine's Day, Garnet." My lips find her's in a sweet, but slow kiss. "Happy Valentine's Day, Y/n." "Already you two?" We smile at each other's lips as Amethyst's voice fills the air, ruining the moment. "Amethyst, be nice. It's their first Valentine's day together and they're married." "I know, P, but they do this lovey dovey stuff everyday. I just want one day away from it, but no, some jerk had to make a whole day dedicated to it." We both turn to look at our lovely family members and I can't help but smirk, "We can't help that we're in love." My attention turns to Garnet, then back to the duo, particularly Amethyst, "Garnet is made of love." "And its stronger than you." Garnet chimes in, which makes me have to hold back a laugh. Amethyst's cheeks blush a deeper violet and she averts her eyes, "I just don't get how buying gifts supposed to make someone fall in love with you." "It doesn't Amethyst. Its just one way to show affection." Pearl says, which I completely agree. "Like at Christmas time, how we give each other gifts. Like how I gave you a trash can because I know that you like filth. I was being affectionate towards you." Amethyst looks at Pearl, "So, does that mean you love me?" Pearl's cheeks blush a light blue. "I-I do to an extent. But not like what Y/n and Garnet has." For now, I think to myself as I grab Garnet's hand. She smiles a little towards them and I know she's thinking what I am. Amethyst blushes more, "Ooh." Suddenly, the warp pad goes off revealing Steven, Lapis, and Peri. Lapis and Peri is holding paper shaped hearts. Awe, they made Valentine cards. "We're back guys!" Steven says with a huge smile. "Steven said that Y/n had a surprise for everyone and I would like my part now please." Peri says as all of them get off the warp pad. "A surprise?" Pearl looks over at me along with Garnet and Amethyst. "What's the surprise, love?" I smirk and shimmer myself into a red shirt and black pants and boots. My lips peck Garnet's cheek as I go in for a whisper, "This is just one of your surprises." Her cheeks flash a light pink as I straighten up and grab the leaning tower of pancakes. "Come on everyone, the surprise is outside."
