                ~Amethyst's POV~
After Y/n leaves, Steven and Connie get escorted back in the house by Pearl. I continue to rub G's back, she's so tense, it feels like she's struggling to stay together. Guilt overtakes me the same as her, I can't help but blame myself for Y/n's apparent rebellious breakdown, if you wanna call it that. I know that he/she says that it isn't my fault that his/her night with G went bad, but I still think it was because I couldn't help my boredom. I mean, all the wolf pups and Clyde was in bed and the 'adults', along with Steven and Connie wanted to play card games, so could you blame me for wanting to leave?
A few more minutes pass and Pearl comes back down from Steven's room and starts to turn off all the lights except for the farthest kitchen light, then joins G and I at the counter.
"Okay, the kid's are asleep, so now what do we do?" I look at G, she's exhausted. My eyes then look back at P, sigh, "I think we all should go to bed." "But what about Y/n-" I send a death glare her way and she automatically gets the message, "We'll talk about him/her tomorrow, but for now, we all need rest." I stand up and offer G a hand, "C'mon G, we'll go on a mission or something tomorrow." She doesn't take my hand, but I don't get offended, instead she just takes a deep breath and adjusts her visors, "Okay." She walks over to the magical door to Y/n's room and opens it up, "Goodnight."
           ~Time Skip Greg's POV~
"Come on you stupid thing! Work!" I scan my metal detector over the tan sand to try to find some hidden treasure, but no sound is coming from it. I just put two new double A batteries in there, but the thing was previously used. Hey, what can I say, I may be wealthier, but I don't have to buy everything brand new. I smack the scanner part of the skinny black machine and I hear a noise. "Haha! It works!" I scan over the sand again, but no noise comes out. I hang my head down, "Dang it, false alarm." But then, I hear a soft sob nearby. I lift my head and place my hand over my eyes and squint. I see a blurry figure holding itself underneath the fishing dock. I walk a little closer to the figure. As I get closer and closer, the sobs get a little louder and the blurry figure becomes a familiar face... "Y/n?"
                   ~Y/n's POV~
Sleep didn't make its appearance to me last night, instead pain and sorrow did. I decided to stay under the fishing dock and use it as my temporary shelter. Sure I could go back to my father's castle, but I don't want to be reminded why I'm in this position in the first place. Besides, Beach City is my new home and I don't plain on giving leaving it anytime soon.
The cold water splashes on my feet in small waves and I just watch them do their thing. My left arm rests on my knee as my hand supports my head. I have a massive headache. I didn't get any sleep last night because I was feeling so many emotions. My adrenaline was going so crazy from rage and the pain that I felt that I could've just went back down to Louisiana and annihilated Bill and I wouldn't of thought nothing of it, but I didn't. I know that violence never solves anything, but sometimes I like to think that it would. I mean, would it really be that bad if I killed my uncle? The Wolfman?! The arch nemesis of my bloodline?! My own flesh and blood?! I mean, I already killed my father, Dracula, the King of the monsters... So why not his brother?
A brief moment of silence runs across my thoughts and tears start to slide down my cheeks, "What are you thinking L/n?! You're talking about killing your only family!" I slap myself real hard across the right side of my face. I stun myself, then I bury my face in my knees and start to cry softly to myself. Good thing no one is around.
I cry softly to myself for a few more minutes until I hear a familiar voice say my name, "Y/n?" My eyes automatically shoot open and I lift my head up and face the voice's owner, "Greg?" Shock covers his face and he drops his metal detector and comes rushing over to me. He's only like five feet away, but he comes in a split second, "Y/n! What happened?! What happened to your face?!" He drops to his knees beside me and he hesitates whether or not to touch my face. "Please don't... It still hurts."
"What happened?! Should I go get the gems?!" "No!" I say in a semi -dark tone of voice and his eyes just widen a little. I close my eyes and take in a breath and release it and open my eyes again, "I mean, they already know what happened to me and I want to leave them out of it." He places a hand on my shoulder, "I don't know what's going on, but I know its serious. And if its this serious that you want to leave the gems out of it, I respect your decision, but by the looks of things," he gives me a sympathetic glance over, "it looks like you need somebody to talk to about it." He gives me a small smile and I give him a weak one in return. Thank God for him, he's such a great guy and father figure. I wish my father was like him.
He stands up after a few seconds of silence and offers me a hand, "Come on, let's go get some food on our stomachs and we'll talk about it." I raise an eyebrow with a small smirk, but accept his hand. "What makes you think I'm hungry?" He looks at me with a slight frown, "Because I know you're hurting right now and I know you don't eat when you're hurt." Now I raise a brow in confusion, "Now who told you that?" "Steven." Of course. "And he told me what Ruby and Sapphire did to make you eat." I get a nervous feeling, "You ain't going to bring out the rope are you?" He smirks, "Not if you don't resist." He picks up the metal detector and we start walking down the beach back to his van. "Deal."
