              When I carry Garnet across the threshold from the living room to our bedroom and set her down, she makes sure that the door is sealed behind us before she takes my hand and quickly leads me to the bathroom with a little spring in her step. "Um, babe? What are we doing in here?" I ask her as she turns on the light, but she just ignores me for a second before pulling the contents out of the plastic bag with a huge smile. My eyes widen along with my mouth in the form of a smile, "Garnet, do you think we might be-" "There's only one way to find out." I cock a brow at her statement, "But you have future vision, don't you just wanna-" She stops me by shaking her head, "We wanted to find out with you, plus its more exciting this way." Closing the distance between us, I kiss her, "Thank you." Her lips let out a small happy hum, "You're welcome."
          She hands me one of the two pregnancy tests and I go sit on the bathroom sink counter. Looking down, I start to read over the instructions, but what is there not to get? Women pee on the stick and if a plus sign appears that means they're pregnant, and if a minus sign appears it means they ain't. "So babe, why did you get two?" I ask as I look back up at her. She's unzipping her body suit and getting ready to take the tests. She gives me a small smile as she gets the test out of the box, "Because we want to test it twice to compare the results. So could you open that test and we'll begin this one?" I give her a small smile, "Of course." Her lips find mine in a quick, but sweet kiss, "Thanks love." "No problem." My fingers wrestle with the second box as Garnet takes her place on The Porcelain Throne. After a second or two with the box, I slide the second test out of my hand and I hand it to Garnet. "Thanks love." I hum in response, then look straight ahead to give her privacy. The sound of toilet paper ripping and the camode flushing makes me hop off the counter and out of the way for Garnet to put the tests on the counter and wash her hands. After taking a towel from the towel rack to dry her hands, Garnet turns around to face me with a smile as she zips up her suit, "And now we wait." "And now we wait." Going beside the toilet, she places the towel down on the floor and sits down on it, then pats the spot beside it, "We have to wait two minutes."        
Stumbling over, I slide down the wall and plop down beside her, "I always hate the waiting game." Her right hand covers my left and gives it a little squeeze, "If its positive, it'll be worth the wait, won't it?" I pivet my head to mirror her's with a smile and bring her hand up for a kiss, "It sure will."
        We wait out the rest of the minutes in silence until we know it's time to get up and check the tests. I hop to my feet and offer a hand to my wife, which she takes undoubtedly and I pull her into a deep kiss. "Ready?" She smiles against my lips, "As I'll ever be." Her lips linger a second kiss on mine until we pull apart and head for the tests. "Do you want to look at them first or?" Garnet's gaze goes from the tests to me, "We'll both take one and compare them side by side." I smile, "Okay." We both take one test without looking at the result then stand by each other. My hand automatically finds her's and she lets out a deep sigh, "On the count of three?" I nod anxiously, but with a smile, "Okay. One." Another sigh escapes her lips, "Two." Then we both say "Three." Simultaneously, we put the tests side by side, then I can hear Garnet's breath hitch as she squeezes my hand. "They're both... Positive." I quietly mutter. Garnet and my gaze meet seriously for a moment, until we can't hold it back no more. I pick her up and twirl her around, her arms wrapping around my neck, "We're going to be parents!" "Hahaha!" She's so happy, she's laughing. After a few more twirls full of laughs and smiles, I set her down and take off her visors. All three of her beautiful eyes has tears in them and that has triggered my eyes to leak. Both of my hands find her cheeks, while mine is starting to hurt because of how big I'm smiling, "We're going to be parents." She looks up at me and plants a kiss on my lips, "Not just parents... The best parents." My lips connect with her's again as I bring her close in a hug, "I love you Garnet." "I love you too Y/n."
           Breaking the hug, we decide to put both tests into one of the boxes and discard the other one. I feel like I'm floating around in ecstasy and I'm pretty sure Garnet feels three times that thanks to Ruby and Sapphire. I wash my hands as Garnet and I decide to leave the bathroom because the highlight of our day has already came and we're excited to reveal our news to the others. "I can't wait to tell the others, especially Pearl. The look on her face is going to be priceless." A grin makes its way on my face as I pick up the towel from the floor and put it in the hamper as we exit the bathroom, turning off the light, and imagining Pearl's reaction. Walking towards the door, I'm about to open it, that is until Garnet pushes me to the wall and pins my hands above my head, capturing my mouth in a hungry kiss. She kisses me so hard that when we break apart, I see stars. "And what did I do to deserve this? What was my crime?" I ask giving her a little smirk. Her soft lips capture mine once again and she looks up at me, "You made us the happiest gems in the whole universe today and we just wanted to show you some gratitude." Pearly whites bites down on her bottom lip and all of her beautiful eyes goes from my green to my lips then back again. I raise an amused brow, "Garnet, you three aren't just the happiest gems in the universe... I'm the happiest gem hybrid in the universe." I tilt my head down and kiss her deeply, but unfortunately our moment is short lived thanks to banging on the door. "Garnet, Y/n! Breakfast is done! Come and get it while it's hot! And before Amethyst gets it!" "Hey! When it comes to food, all is fairgame Steveman!" I shake my head with a small smile as we hear the footsteps walk away from the door, "Its always something or someone." "What do you mean?" I meet Garnet's eyes, "I mean, everytime you and I want to do something with one another, something or someone pulls us away from it." She drops her arms so I can let my arms fall, then she looks down and feels her stomach with both hands, "And now since we have a little one on the way, it's going to be even more difficult with privacy." I put one arm around her waist and pull her close in a one arm hug, kissing her temple in the process, "Perhaps... But we do have two and a half gems that would gladly watch him or her if we need a break." A small hum escapes her lips in response as she fazes on her visors, "True. Also, we have Greg, he'll come through for us." "As always." My lips peck her temple again, "Ready to go eat together breakfast?" She looks down at her stomach with a big smile and I can't help but mimic her, especially after she says, "Yes, with our plus one."
