Steven Universe : Garnet x Male or Female Gem/Vampire Hybrid Reader Love Story

Ch. 82

                       *Time Skip*
             "Ooh, that gel was cold. I mean we knew that it was going to be cold, but not that cold." A laugh escapes my lips as I bring my now eight month pregnant wife closer to me for a side hug as we begin walking back from the hospital with the gender ultrasound of our unborn child in our hands. "C'mon babe, it couldn't of been that bad." Garnet stops us in our tracks and just looks at me. "It felt like ice. And being this far along in the pregnancy I'm very sensitive to certain things and that includes jellified ice on my stomach." That's true, Garnet has been very sensitive and hormonal these past eight months as are most women when they're pregnant. But having two wives as one makes it worse because I had to deal with double the hormones. The first four months of the pregnancy wasn't that bad. It was mostly me running to the store at random hours of the day or night to get food for the girls' weird food cravings. Who knew that hot Cheetos with slushies and ice cream topped with jalapenos would be a good combo actually. Month five, six, and seven were the toughest by far out of them all. Tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears of happiness and tears of pain made up those months most definitely thanks to the hormones, but I'm happy that we're finally over that stage in our life, unless we decide to have more kids. But now we're on month eight and nearing the end of our first child's pregnancy, and let's just say that I am so glad that we're finally here. I'd have to say month eight is both mine and Garnet's favorite. She's been in heat sort of speak, everyday this month and has basically held me hostage in the bedroom to please her, but hey, I'm not complaining.
            I get pulled out of my thoughts as Garnet hooks her arm with mine and starts leading us back to the temple. Steven and the others are throwing us a gender reveal / baby shower on the beach for us as we speak and knowing our luck, he invited the whole town. "We're so excited to see what the baby is that we might not be able to wait to see with the others." Garnet says as she cradles her stomach with Ruby's hand and looks at the orangeish brown envelope in Sapphire's hand. I smirk as I quickly confiscate the envelope from them, which earns me a small smile and a little slap, "I said that we might not be able too." Leaning forward, I kiss her temple, "I'm not taking any chances... Besides," I pretend that I'm going to take a sneak peek at the ultrasound just to tease her, "I want the first peek." That earns me another playful slap, but it also earns me a kiss, "I love you, Y/n." My lips smile against her plush ones long enough for her to snatch the envelope back away from me. Touché. She giggles as she sets us back on track and leads us to the beach.
               Just to my expectations, the whole town is here, which isn't surprising, but what is surprising is that The Diamonds are here?! Both Garnet and I look at each other in surprise, then we look back to the purple color schemed party. Since we wanted to find out the gender of the baby together as a family, we waited until everyone could be off to do it. Usually expecting parents find out the sex of their baby in month three or four, but we went on vacation to Ruth's at the end of the third month and the beginning of the fourth month, so we just decided to find out the sex near the end of the pregnancy, which isn't bad at all. "Garnet! Y/n! You're back from the hospital!" Steven announces our arrival, which makes everyone stop from what their doing to stare at us. All eyes land on us, especially White's. She sends us a small, but genuine smile and I return it. Whenever Garnet, Steven, the gems and I called The Diamonds to inform them that Garnet and I was going to be parents, they were slightly confused at first, but they caught on quickly whenever I went into more detail... And that's when Steven had to step out of the room. They were all so happy when they found out that they was going to be family to another gem hybrid, especially White. Even though she didn't show much joy in her facial expression, she did say that she was excited to be a granddiamond and couldn't wait to show 'Stardust' across the cosmos.
              Coming over and grabbing us by the hands after hugging us, Steven guides us over to the middle of the crowd and it doesn't take long for the crowd to swarm us. Looking around, I see that Steven literally invited everyone. The Diamonds, Lars and The Off Colors, Sadie and The Cool Kids, Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot, Connie and her parents, Jasper and even Kevin showed up! Probably because he didn't have anything better to do. "So, did you get the results?! Is it a girl or a boy?! Is it a Universe or a Quartz?!" A few people raises their eyebrows at Steven's last question, so I explain, "He means is it a boy or girl? A Greg or a Rose?" The crowd laughs a little at his joke and then turns their attention back to us. I let Garnet speak up now. "Well, we haven't reviewed the results yet. We wanted to be around all of our loved ones before we found out." "Almost all of our loved ones... Ruth and her family isn't here." I look down with a slight frown knowing that she couldn't make it because of work. "Or are we nerd?" My head automatically pops up to the sound of my cousin's familiar voice, but when I look up, I don't see her. "Ruth? Where are-" Pearl then holds up her phone and faces it towards me. I smile to the moon and back when I see my cousin and her crazy family on screen. "Sorry we couldn't make it there Y/n, Garnet. Duty calls down here, ya know?" Ruth says as she rolls her eyes. "But you know we wouldn't miss this for the world." Brie says as she readjusts her and Ruth's new daughter, Jenny, in her arms. Clyde and the rest of the wolf pups are surprisingly sitting halfway calm behind the phone as we speak, that I'm almost shocked. "Well, we appreciate it and we love y'all." "We love you guys two. Now show us the results! We've waited long enough!" The crowd around us agrees with Ruth's command with a big roar of 'Yeah's!' I roll my eyes with a smile and straighten up my posture then face my beautiful wife. Ever since she became pregnant, I don't know how, but it seems like she got even more beautiful, if that's even possible. My pearly whites shine as I take her hands in mine, "Are you ready?" "As we'll ever be." I kiss her sweet lips at that comment. Time to open up the next chapter in our lives.
           I let Garnet open the envelope, but we both take an end of the ultrasound and count to three before lifting it up and looking at it. "One... Two... Three." Both of us raise up the ultrasound to the sky, so that the Sun can show us a picture of our sweet, little, girl. "It's a girl, everyone!" I shout out with tears in my eyes. A roar of applause surrounds us in forms of claps, whistles and small confetti pop its. Garnet and I just look at our new princess, then at each other, after Amethyst snags the ultrasound from us. "Congrats G! Y/n! Y'all are gonna make a great mom and Bibi!" (based on the B in NB, similar to mama and papa/dada.) (Bibi is your name that the baby is gonna call you because this is a male/female story.) "Thank you, Amethyst." I rub the back of my head, "We're certainly gonna try." "Don't worry you two, you'll be just fine." Pearl says as her and Steven comes over and looks at the ultrasound with Amethyst. "You two have each other and Ruby and Sapphire. And if you still need help, you have Steven, Amethyst, and I... And I'm pretty sure Greg will be willing to help." We all look over at Greg who has a hotdog in his mouth and a full plate in his hand. He gives us a thumbs up and we just smile. "And don't forget about us." The sound of Yellow's voice startles us from behind as her, Blue, and White, shrink down to normal size and walks over to us with their Pearls. Yellow places a hand on my shoulder, "We'll always be here for you too. Don't be afraid to ask for help," she looks at all of us, "none of you." "Stardust is going to be in our lives too you know, and you know that we want to help her and spoil her as much as possible. Yellow will teach her to command armies, while I teach her all about her aunt Pink." Blue says with a stray tear falling down her face. Garnet hums and nods towards Blue, "Love, why don't you tell Blue and everyone the name we picked out if we was having a girl." I smile at her suggestion, "Of course," I clear my throat, "We decided to name her Nora M/F/N L/N. We chose Nora because Pink was going to name Steven that if he was going to be a girl. M/F/N is my mother's first name and of course, our last name." That almost does it for Blue. She basically squeezes the life out of me and gently hugs Garnet." After I regain life back in my dead lungs, Garnet leans forward into me and hugs me after giving me a sweet kiss. I hold her waist to help her balance as she wraps her arms around my neck to bring my forehead down to meet her's. "I love you Y/n M/n L/n." My lips meets her's once again, "And I love you Garnet. Ruby. Sapphire." My gaze falls down to my wife's belly, our child's first home. "And we love you, Nora, and we can't wait to meet you."

                     *Small Epilogue*

                    *3rd Person P.O.V.*

       Garnet ended up giving birth to a healthy baby girl in the comforts of her and Y/n's bedroom with the help of Mrs. Maheswaren. Nora weighed six pounds and three ounces and was 24 inches long. She came out with a head full of wavy black hair and neon green eyes. As soon as she came into the world, Y/n's gem broke a small shard off itself and it landed on top of Nora's heart. The gem that formed was a white Garnet stone. The perfect combination of the two mom's gems and Nora's Bibi's gem color coming together in harmony.

Nora's Bio: 3/4 gem, 1/4 vampire. Still considered a gempire.
