Story 20

                   ~3rd Person POV~
        Back in the train cart, Sapphire and Pearl is still playing their game of chess. "So Sapphire, how's your relationship with Ruby and y/n going?" Pearl asks, trying to make small talk as she thinks about her next move. "We're all doing fine, thank you for asking. How's training going with the kids?" Sapphire responds as Pearl takes out one of her pawns with one of her knights, "Good. Good." They continue to sit there in silence, concentrating on the game, but they have no idea of what's going on outside their soundproof cart.
Outside the window in the background, both of the armies of the Cowboys and Indians are going at it heavily. Clouds of dust and smoke come from the middle of the grassy field as the clone y/n's get proofed from both sides.
                    ~Y/n's POV~
        Smoke, dust and screaming makes up the atmosphere around our battle and I can't tell who's winning. The numbers of Cowboys and the Indians look about the same, but my clones are getting poofed left and right and is making a huge cloud of smoke around us.
        "Babe!" I hear Ruby yell from somewhere out of my line of sight, but I can't see her. "Ruby!" I yell as I try to get a response from her again. I hear her yell for me again, and this time I sniff the air of where I think she's yelling from. My nose gets a faint wif of strawberry and I lock onto like a bloodhound. Bingo. I use my superspeed and sense her out and when I finally find her, she's surrounded by three cowboys.
I carefully sneak up on them and take all three of them out in a flash. "Wow, thanks babe!" I smirk and plant a kiss on her cheek, "No problem, but I'm kind of confused about something." My smirk drops to a slight frown. "What is it?" "Am I technically killing myself?" She looks down at the ground with a hand on her chin, "Hmm, I guess technically you are, but its just your duplicates, so... Not really... I don't know, but who cares? They can't feel it, you can't feel it... Can you?" She looks back up at me and I smile a little, "No, but it was just an interesting question." "True, but we ain't here to learn, we're here to have fun! So let's win this thing!" She exclaims and I smile wider, "Yeah! Let's do this!" We grab each others hands and rush back into the battle with our battle cries.
                ~Little Time Skip~
        "Crap." Ruby states bluntly as her and I are surrounded by Amethyst, Steven, and Connie. They are the only Cowboys left and we are the only Indians left. We're back to back and the others are closing in on us in a triangle. "It looks like you two have nowhere else to run." Amethyst says and she gets closer to close the distance on her and I. I gulp a little as she straightens her whip. "Get that thing away from me Ame, you know the rules." I point my finger at her and she makes all her whips vanish and I sigh in relief.
          "Well, since we don't have the whips anymore... Surrender now or face our new consequences." Steven says as he punches his palm. "And what would that be?" Ruby says with a little of defense in her voice. "Tickling." Connie says and I feel Ruby tense, "You wouldn't dare." "Try us." Amethyst says as she gets her fingers ready along with the kids. "Well, that's not going to happen." I say and Ruby seconds me. "Well, in that case... Get em!" Amethyst shouts and I quickly wrap my arms around Ruby, shielding her. The trio attacks me with no mercy, but I continue to shield Ruby with my body.
           "Give up y/n! You can't keep this up forever!" Steven shouts. "Yeah!" Connie seconds him. "Never!" I laugh a little. "Babe, we need to do something!" Ruby yells from in front of me. "Like what?!" She turns around in my arms and whispers in my ear, "Let's fuse." My jaw drops and it seems like time slowed down all around us. "Really?" She smiles a huge smile at me, "Yeah, let's fuse." I match her smile, "Okay! Let's do it!" I pick her up and spin her around, causing some distance between us and the others. Finally, after about four spins, we kiss, then we fuse.
